Hey there to everyone!!! so i am now in the UK partying it up with my big brother Dan and a whole bunch of kiwis!!! i arrived in heathrow from boston at 6 in the morning and met dan upon landing, we took the train to acton and stayed with some waiukuians for a couple of days of hard partying, (seeing as it was my birthday on wednesday) We also did the tourest thing around london and got some great photos!! its was a blast seeing buckingham palace and the big ben....also did a ferry ride along the thames, from london [View Full Entry]

So i found out another kiwi friend of mine was in north carolina which is only bout a two hour flight away...jo emailed me and i ended up going to visit for the weekend, i had a good time hanging with her friends and being cooked alive by the unbeleavably hot/humid weather!! This was definately the best weekend yet!!! Jolene and Chet (american uni friends) had invited me to there place in upstate New York for their towns annual Harborfest!! Oswego is near Syracuse and right on the edge of Lake Ontario (a huge ass lake that you cant even see the other side!! and no tuffy that dosnt make it the ocean) i took an eight hour bus ride from newton, boston to syracuse new york where i got off and caught another bus to oswego university campus. This is my first big day out in Boston City, I had to wake up early cos I was taking my lil cousins into the the city on the train, naturally we missed the first one and had to wait around for the next one to come through....but all in all it was a great day, i even met a few other tourists from england and australia!!! it was actually really cool cos i still aint met another kiwi yet... then there were the dark dancers at fanual hall, they were pretty crazy, i hope the pics show how nuts they [View Full Entry]

so on my second day in the USA after spending the night in the marriott hotel i took an early morning train right into New York city's grand central station, a truly awesome place... i had no idea of where anything was so the first thing i did was buy a map...i had my breakfast in one of the thousand starbucks and set off on a day of snapshots and being a tourist... i visited the empire state building, ground zero (twin towers), central park, times square and some other famous places. highlight of the day was getting a photo of [View Full Entry]
