i have gone and done it again. i bought myself a dual-sport (on-off road) motorcycle. it seemed like a good idea. i even started to think about driving it to las vegas and idaho, etc. to visit friends. then, i drove it 2.5 hours to a work place. the wind was gusting at near 50mph and it sucked, despite my attempt to take my time. i even traveled the old pass, over ice (very little) i might add. i arrived and felt much worse for the wear. i felt quite horrible. the 60 minutes spent in the whirlpool did little to help. only after i took 800mg ibuprofen did i begin to feel a tiny bit better. the only saving grace i hoped would be the two days i spent working, thus resting my body from ... read more

Well, just a few short days ago i called me mums to rub it in that i was bicycling in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Today, i am biking on snow and ice. That was not as bad as the fine ice particles floating in the air stinging my eyes as i forgot to wear glasses. Not to worry, i made my destination fine with only one slip(no fall), even though that was of course the only time that a car was passing me.
