Helloo Hi all,
Auntie Sib here. I have been reading your blog but only just realised that I can post a comment without being on Facebook. Doh!
I loved your sand city and the beach apartment looks great.
So weird to think of you all on the beach while we are shivering in wet playgrounds!
Lots of love, Auntie Sib x
P.S. How is Sealpup's schooling coming along? I am worried that he is missing 3 weeks of his schooling while on holiday...
Douglas Hi Nady. I really like your blog entries!
I'm glad you and Douglas had a good sleep in the boot. You both looked very comfortable!
love
Auntie Liz
Sleeping in the boot Hi Nady - I'm so glad you told us how they made your bed - when I saw the picture of you in your special bed before, I was wondering how they made it! Very clever, and it looked very cosy. Enjoy the beach! Love from Auntie Julie (the Oates variety) xx
All your adventures I am really enjoying reading all about your adventures and imagining everything you are doing. You are all very good writers, and make it easy to imagine. The day on the lake in Argentina sounded amazing, and I'm sure will be one of the highlights of the holiday. Likewise, I was really drawn in to the endless driving up Chile, and some of the disappointments of places to stay and beaches you came across! I'm glad you have now found a place to relax and enjoy yourselves again. I am taking some days off work to prepare for Christmas this week - you certainly must feel a long way from all that, geographically and emotionally! May all go well for the final leg of your journey. With lots of love, Julie x
Keep up the good work!... Really enjoying reading the diary of your travels. P.S. The lorry driver's journey was probably not just lumpy from those flatspots on the tyres, but perhaps a little,...smelly too! Fear! Nature's laxative :-)
I\'m very intrigued at the shadow photo! Is it an elephant? Rhino? Hippo?
It\'s interesting that you mentioned Sarah Connor. I\'d been thinking about her with all your descriptions of the desert etc. Technically she was living in a secure mental hospital at the start of T2! But yes, that photo did look like the place where she brought up John/went back to! Did you find \"no fate\" scratched into a wooden table?
Shadow photo It was a tank the Chilean army sent to try and catch us. Going too fast.
You're right of course about the start of the movie. Did she go there after escaping? I saw something carved into a rock as we sped past. Might have said "no fate" but might have said "go figure". couldn't work it out. ;-) x
Desert experience I must book that desperate Butlins tribute desert experience...
Good to see the spotty hanky is being worn with pride. Good writing Aib

Great game of hide and seek you...
Who've you got in mind for the honeymoon?
Good photos and really good to have friendly people at the borders.
An uncle Mike thought coming up Joe...
'Our fear of change is transformed into a rich journey of growth by kind people at the border crossings of our lives'.
There's something to think about on the long boring journey Joe
Sam is going to see the Hobbit tonight wiht his mates. Love to see that. U Mike
All caught up So, I've read through the last 10 days and have thoroughly enjoyed "hearing" all your different voices, stories, and contemplations. It looks like a wonderful holiday you are having and you're all gorgeous! love from us both
Thanks for your blog Nady
poor ben. I hope he is not too sore
Dad looks drunk. He is clearly having too much of a good time. Tell him to carry on
Uncle Mike
Lots of reading! I've done well. I've read it all so far.
Had to concentrate hard to get through it all. My rule is 'no more than 7 lines' otherwise it doesn't get read and is put off for later.
Really good to follow what you're up to. Sounds like an amazing experience that everyone will remember for the rest of their lives. It was this time last year that we were all staying in a cottage in South Devon just before Christmas. A great time then but a million miles away from what you're experiencing now.
Never thought I'd hear Gray say "We're gonna have to slow down to save fuel..."
Enjoy the rest of it and keep safe.
Love
Uncle Tim
It's a new experience... Never thought I'd get to that either Tim, but we were threatening to blow the budget...at 100mph we were doing 14mpg. at 70-80 we're doing 21mpg! Petrol's a lot more in Argentina and Chile than Bolivia (about £1.08 per litre).
The car's amazing though...Nissan next time I think for us

What a beautiful place Give me steak any time over a pizza!! I can understand why you didn't want to leave this place - It could have been anywhere in England (almost). have fun on your next leg. Lots of love, David and Linda
Nice to hear from you Hi Dad. It would have been good to have you with us, but we couldn't wait until you come next year.
Tomorrow we move into Chile. Love to you both
