Charlie and Kerry-- DOn't know if you knew this, but Skip and I spent the summer before we got married as interns at the Presbyterian Church in Hagerman. It was nice to see the picture--looked familiar. What beautiful country! Mary

we were there!
This is just too strange. We drove up hwy 55 from Boise on Sunday, took the scenic drive on hwy 13 and hwy 12 all the way to Lewiston as I worked one summer as a seasonal for the National park Service at Nex Perce NHS and I hadn't been back there in over 30 years! Our journey took us into Washington and south to a fun park Fields Springs SP for Sunday night. Then yesterday we drove to Vantage near Ellensburg and then home today. I feel like we're following each other. Remember you just aren't that far away from us and we'd love to come and find you before you head to Canada and Alaska.

La Vida Loca
Last week I drove thru a light misty rain that just hung in the air near Charlottesville, VA. But it was there and back in a few days for me - not the long leisurely journey I've always wanted to take. I'm jealous (a little) - You've got the whole country, and each other to share it with. Enjoy - be safe.

In SLC 5/24 too
Hey there, I was on my way to see son, Tom in Montana by way of SLC on Monday. So I was there, too! Weather played into my trip, too. Got diverted to Helena, instead of Butte where Tom is living. He ended up driving up to get me; weather prevented landing in Butte after 2 atempts. Anyway, all is well now. Love all the pictures. Travel safe!

First long motorcycle trip out west.
Mesa Vera was one of the locations I touch on when I went out west with my goldwing. Take care, think about you both often. Tom

We're close by!
Just thought I'd let you know that we're in Zion National Park as of Wed May 19 and heading to Bryce NP. I'm thinking that we might be in the same part of the country! Our plans are to head up north through Salt Lake City, Boise, and then home by about May 25-26. I just have this feeling that our paths will cross very SOON!

Beautiful pictures
What amazingly breathtaking pictures. I can just imagine how awesome it is to see all that beauty in person. You all are not old folks!!!!! Old folks would not attempt a trip like that. I am so very happy for you all that your "get up and go" has not "gone off and went"! Love, Aunt Suzie
