Not exactly a dirt road, but you're getting there. I wish we would get snow. Ya'll go to the damn desert and see snow, but we still get none. We're getting the raw end of the deal I think. I'm glad ya'll made it safe and sound. I'm very envious of your trip.

Never knew there were so many different varities of cacti. And I love poppies. I can't seem to grow any here no matter how hard I try. Maybe I'll move west!!!!

The trip looks awesome so far, sorry I haven't kept a daily eye on your progress. I read the past several days worth of blogs this evening and I must admit I'm a little disapointed.... not even one of kerrdog's famous (or infamous???) dirt roads! What the hell?? Don't tell me ya'll have mellowed out in your years. Bring on the adventure, get off the beaten path, bring on the wash-boards in the sand, bring on the menacing warning signs. I love you both very much. I can't wait to see pictures in response to this. I know you can find some obscure dirt road that is certain to be a 'shortcut' ;-) I'll talk to ya'll soon

I love your blog. I can honestly say it is the best blog I've ever seen, but keep in mind it is the only blog I've ever seen. It looks like your trip is going well and you are certainly making good time. With your being all the way down in San Antonio, why don't ya'll ease on down to the coast for a few days, should be warm that far south, no? Please drive safely and remember to always beware the red-headed mexican.
