Hi! What a great trip. We will look forward to more blogs. Yesterday was long making arrangements,etc. Just such a sad time. We will stay in Bakersfield until after the service. Take care and be safe.

How excited we are that you have finally started your long awaited dream. Charlie, as usual, you write so eloquently that it makes us feel like we are right there with you. I still say and so does Linda that you should write for National Geographic. We will miss you at Mom's service but know you are with us in spirit. Arch
FYI: John and I both worked at the Arch in the mid 1970's and that's where we met. Just imagine me up at the top giving tours and programs. I also did numerous educational programs in the Museum. Knew a little bit about lots of things. Glad you enjoyed. We have some amazing stories about the "inside" secrets. It will be nice to be home . . .

We sure miss you guys---we're here in East St. Louis in the Casino Queen's RV Park. It's a nice place, and we can leave Mo' in the trailer all day if we choose to. We're going to go to the Arch first thing in the morning and then go see Dorothea at 3pm. We'll take Mo' with us when we go to Dorothea's place. She had dogs at one time, so I doubt she'll mind seeing Mo' and having him in her house. It is sad seeing all that farm land underwater. Bob said to tell you this Casino Queen RV park is the cheapest campground in the area. I think we paid $26.70 a night---no WIFI, but all you have to do is come to the hotel to get DSL for free. Hi, Son, Tom lives in Butte, and his girl friend is in Missoula. I visited Tom just the end of May for a few days. Absolutley beautiful countryside. You've seen lots of fabulous scenery!
