wow.. Hi Nancy Jo,
I stumbled across your blog and pics of Jamaica and the pics are incredible. I am from Jamaica and now living in FL. Yes we have the beaches but its not quite the same as I am sure you will know. One thing the pics dont describe is the crime rate there in JA. I know my homeland is beautiful, but I interested in knowing what your perceptions are on the socio-economic realizations you came to. Also your overall perceptions on the crime situation there. P.S. you look fabulous in your pics.
Best Regards,
Geoffrey Myrie

more on blue hole... If i remember correctly....we spotted the BLUE HOLE on the way to the home of Jamaica's mannate population. It's on the south side of the island which largely accounts for the lack of tourists. It was beautiful. Claudia....i hope you've been there, if not it's time to go. It's worth it.
jazzy b.... the beach near duckenfield is rather complicated to find. Duckenfield is in the parish of St.THomas. You will need a four-wheel drive vehicle. Once in St. Thomas you will need to find Duckenfield. It is off the main road. When we drove there we turned onto a small road in between sugar cane fields. I would ask the locals for the exact road. Once in Duckenfield we drove past the Sugar Cane factory and through rolling sugar cane fields. We eventually came to a overgrown area where the road became very bad. If you keep on driving you will eventually come to the beach. I know these are not sufficient/good directions. I suggest asking the people in the area the best way to the beach. You could also try asking for the lighthouse. The lighthouse is clearly visible from the beach, and on the same road. So if you can get to the lighthouse you can get to the beach. Good luck Jazzyb. :)
Bites Don't worry about the bits hun. My daughter went to India in January and she was ALMOST eaten in Delhi. She had lumps as large as a golf ball. She is ok now
Birthday You are not going to let us forget our forgetfulness. You must remember the age of your parents...this forgetfulness is only going to get worse. We love you!

It seems as if ur one of the prettiest woman on the face of the earth. why? because it doesn`t matter how you say no to the guys they still want your no. so what about your relationship in Jamaica? what kind of man do u have? is he more romantic than the Americans?
Father Burchell Hi I have been reading your Blogg for weeks/months (Love it to bits)and I have just come across a picture of someone that I/my sister have known for years. The one and only Father Burchell McPherson from St Pius X Church at Olypmic Way. I am now residing in London and would very much like to get in touch with Father Burchell if you do have an email address for him.
Keep up the good works as reading your bloggs reminds me of all the work we use to do in Jamaica whilst living there.
Many thanks once again.
Marcia/Sonia
Showering with ants? Remember your ant farm and awaiting the ants in the mail and how they were dead when they arrived because of the Kansas winter weather. But the company did send some new recruits who lived for quite some time. Miss you!
Your Blog(s) My husband and I are getting ready to travel to Jamaica for a very long visit. My husband is going to be working in May Pen at the Alcoa bauxite plant. We are going to be living in Jamaica for the next 3 to five years. Your blogs are teaching me a lot and I just want to say thank you. Very interesting and amusing at times.
