Poetry Oh Nancy, you are growing up and doing your very own poetry now. I think the National Poetry association is calling your name.
May your turquoise smile radiate among the decaying brickfields of Jamaica.
whoa i love your entries. everything you say about jamaica reminds me of benin. if and when you ever come to visit you will think the same. even the bags of cool drinks are the same. talk to ya later; chica
You rock! Again, I just wanted to say: You rock my world Nancy Jo! Keep up the good work!!
Also, as an English major, I have to say that you might want to consider a career in poetry...goats in boats! That could be the title of your first collection...:)
Looking for AIDS Hospice info Hi Nancy,
I really like your journal entry. I was interested in any contact info you had for the AIDS hospice. I helped out with the same AIDS hospice and lost the info. We had a wonderful time helping the nurses and working with the patients as a health care team. Its been dificult to find information for them. thanks for any help you could give.

Loved your last entry Its so nice to see you having so many wonderful adventures. I'm glad your family could visit. Happy New Year! I think of you often.
I have a great picture you laughing during your prayer Nancy :) Your situation on Thanksgiving is very poignant. We have so much to be thankful for! I will share your stories with my students. Take care of your self...and I miss lying on your dorm room floor talking to you too...
I think you are cool. I want to lie on a top buck with you on teh bottom bunk and talk until all my blood is in my ears. and then talk some more when I have righted myself.
Dance Club? Nancy,
At the risck of sounding daft and perhaps a bit stuffy, I have to ask you what you would be doing at a secular dance club when you are living at a convent? Are you a guest there or are you there for edification?
I'm not judgmental but curious.

Break dancer Sry i messed up on the other comment
i decided that you should learn how to break dance like that
i am also really suprised about glasses
that is great
Hi Nancy! I am so impressed with the work you are doing. You and Erika are setting such good examples for me! I thought the parents were supposed to teach the children! I think of you so often. Thanks for the journal entry - I love reading what you're doing.
I agree with erika, people just don't know how god they have it! You are doing a wonderful job nancy, keep up the great work. And I don't think that you will have any problem getting respect from your students because I know that you show them respect as well. It is good to have high expectations. Love you lots nancy!
Education Education is one of the biggest differences I can see between here and the U.S., and Jamaica as you say it is. People love to learn!! Yet in America, some people choose to be ignorant. ugh. it makes me sick sometimes. Anyway, glad you are well.
I'm a recent graduate of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and I lived and worked in Kingston, Jamaica. I'm now back in school in St. Louis, MO. I hope to be travelling again soon.... full info
