We are two Married couples who have now retired. Dianne & Bruce, Anne & Dennis.

We have traveled together through Europe and around the world and this year we decided to tour our own back yard.

We have spent the money bought the Caravans and touring Inland QLD, Outback, Gulf of Carpenteria, Cape York then down the coast dropping off Anne & Dennis in Brisbane.

Next year we will do the full trip around the Aussie Continent.

I thought there was a lot of work organising the round the world trip for 16 weeks. Let me tell you having the right vehicle to tow the Caravan and deciding on the Caravan takes many months of planning and iunvestigating.

Anyone thinking of doing it start at least 8 months ahead and then some as there is much to find out and many decisions and problems to overcome.

Not to mention the amount of times the hubbies try to knock the Wind out of your Sails only to find that you do know some things that they don't.

Having been on the O/Seas trip we feel we should be okay being in a confined space with each other for the next 8 to 10 weeks.

Some of the rooms we stayed in O/S were smaller than the Van but we had a great time as we are sure we will on this trek. Adios
