Independent fun... Sounds like you're enjoying your independence - late night clubbing would be difficult with your two little Belgians tagging along, wouldn't it?!
Indeed! In life, it's all about balance...I love to be with them 100% for weeks at a time...as much as I love from time to time being on my own. The only balance I haven't found yet...and hope not too find it too fast...is how to stop travelling...
Sofia! Looks like a lovely city and very empty of tourists, as you say like Prague used to be. One day we will do a mammoth overland trip through Europe, so good to see Sofia! Hope you are well and the kids are enjoying their time being spoilt by their grandparents.
Excellent universities... ...and, if you're thinking that Leslie might attend one of them in the future, his education has already begun - in the Red Light District! :0)
A belated Happy Birthday, Tiffany Tiffany, you must know that you are one of the two most fortunate kids in the world (the other one being your brother!) - and your dad's the luckiest man in the world to have two such great kids!
I AGREE WITH TIFFANY YES, I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SPEND MY BIRTHDAY IN NEW YORK. I LOVE THE BIRTHDAY CAKE, I LOVE CUPCAKES. YES YES YES!!!!! TIFFANY IS A GREAT LITTLE WOMAN AND SHE MADE A GREAT CHOICE. HUGS FROM ARGENTINA. GRACIELA
no need to apologise! We moved to Majorca in March this year... not sure how long we will be here... it's fun for now but I can't see us staying here for too long... maybe we will move again when Dax has improved his Spanish :D But Majorca is worth a visit... let us know if you come to this part of the world!
Don't apologise for being too busy traveling and living!!... for me short blogs are better... you make us all jealous with just a few words anyway! ;)
what a place! It looks amazing... and those underwater pictures... I'm speechless!!!... living in Majorca now I appreciate even more the beauty of empty beaches... something we don't have here at all!!
Hi Deni and Dax! The fun part, is that my kids are growing up like me...beaches are ok...one hour at a time...but I have to admit, here discovering them was pretty amazing.....after this, we tend to get bored...
So, what are you doing in the Baleares?...that's one place I haven't been!
Let me also apologize to you and all my other Tb members commenting on our blogs. I try to keep with the blogging in a timely manner...ending with poorly written blogs and pictures chosen in a run. Taking care of two pre-teens...running a business...and travelling at the same time can be challenging...from time to time. Not that I complain, I chose it and enjoy it. It makes me have to admit...we love the comments...but very often I'm just not replying...which is far from being polite...and I don't even take the time to read a lot of my fellow TB bloggers new entries...and for this I apologize.
From end of December, I promise, all this will change!

1 year had gone so fast! I cant believe you have been there for 1 year - time has gone so fast!
Have loved reading your travels and so impressed the kids go to enjoy such a different environment.
Keep up the travels :)

$110 for every flight you take from now to Bangkok... is going to add up to quite a hefty sum...not to mention having to lug all that stuff. Have you considered shipping everything except what you need for your travels?
Hi Bob! Well...being multi-tasking....between golfing...diving...skiing...and two kids getting on with a full suitcase of toys...and electronics....we'll deal with it.
Don't worry...should be the last first and last flights we had to pay on a full round-the-world....not that bad at the end. This is also why we didn't stop in Rio....would have loved to take the kids there....but the logistics was too much of a nightmare. Imagine...domestic flights in Brazil don't even have business class anymore...so no way to pay a little more to avoid the baggages fees...all per kg here!
And the best part of it...we are now in an amazing place, middle of nowhere....with crazy slow internet....and the only fast site to access is...guess...travelblog....should I reply to my business emails through TB??
Is it a year already? I cannot believe how fast the time has gone from you packing your goods in Bangkok. Glad it has been a rewarding experience for you, Leslie and Tiffany.
Adiós y buena suerte, amigo mío What an adventure for your kids still in their formative years. Having met the three of you I can appreciate your determination that your kids come first. Argentina to me when I visited was a place of past glories. Sad to read it is not well...but pleased you guys are. Best wishes for your next home.
This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa.
Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires.
Come to visit....there is so much to do here! ... full info
Keep Smiling
