My land..... I read all the blog and I really liked it. It´s very important ans useful to read about foreigner´s opinions about the land where I was born. I agree with you. Whenever I must describe my country I always say it´s FULL OF CONTRADICTIONS, as you wrote. We are living a nightmare here, a fake democracy, corruption everywhere, inflation, insecurity. I do hope a better future but I am very pessimistic. Thank you for your blog. Hugs to you and your lovely children. Graciela.
Awesome Post Hey... nice post... you had a interesting journey from Bangkok to Buenos Aires.... Nice pictures... it seems, your kids had a great time at school.
I have been also to Buenos, I went there last year....and I loved its night life.... Its a nice place. For more information on Buenos Aires, follow below map-

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your Argentina experience... What a wonderful gift to your children. But I agree that they will need a stable school situation soon. See you on December 7th!
Thanks Daisy! But it seems my month of July will be filed with few of those...one more time visit...working on our plan B for the first week of July for the moment....we are going to go high...and cold!
Great stuff Sorry you'll be leaving South America as we've enjoyed your adventures there. The year has flown by. You've managed to see a great deal in a short period of time.
A coincidence... I mentioned you and your exploits to my son a few weeks ago. Last week, he bought a Moai to put in his garden (a fake, like the underwater one - and only a fraction of the size!). Now, here you are on Easter Island sharing your days with Moais!
An amazing coincidence and your blog, as ever, is an interesting glimpse of life beneath the waves.
Garde le sourire!
It's hard to believe you have been in Buenos Aires a year... seems like yesterday that you moved there from Bangkok. Are you going to do any other year abroad stays of a year or more?
No more one year! Hi Bob,
We will be back living in Asia end of this year....Bangkok it will be...
But no more one year trips...as much as this one actually look like a cool long holiday, you cannot built much by moving every year. May have been fun had I been in my early twenties without kids....but to built something, you need way more than a year!
Bear in mind that in less than 7 years...both kids will be at University...I may simply head to the road from there...non stop...but that's another story...

Amazing Looks like an amazing place to dive. Congrats on the blog and the diving - so many places you've been to I'd like to see some day and dive them. Cheers!
I don't dive, but.... I need not be a diver to be thrilled with these photos. And the videos! Peter, you should put more videos in your blog ESP those on diving, so we get a "feel" of your world. Thanks for sharing.
PS. Did you say Marie served lobsters? Yum.
Glad you loved Rangi :) PA I am so glad to read this blog (I read it twice!) - and so very glad you thought it as amazing as I did...how cool is the breaking wave! Indeed not a place for beginner divers but wow what an adrenaline thrill when the current kicks in :) And that lobster! So many, so good I must return to Rangiroa - looking forward to the next blog!
Happy 500 That is terrific! You have been to some of the best dive spots in the world. Good for you. We are jealous. Keep those blogs and photos coming.
Wow just WOW! You set the standard for all divers PA - so glad we get to share your pics and stories - congrats on the 500th! Hope whats to come makes you just as happy :)
This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa.
Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires.
Come to visit....there is so much to do here! ... full info
