I don't often moan, but... To be fair it's not all bad! I got to Auckland on Wednesday morning (flew from Cairns which has to be one of the smallest airports ever built) and was quickly diagnosed with savage man flu so that put me out of action for a couple of hours. I decided enough was enough by Thursday evening though and went out and got stupidly drunk on a pub crawl in Auckland and despite my condition I stayed out until 2am! Woooo, GO ME! Sorry I haven't been able to get on the internet much so haven't updated this as much as I wanted to! It's been an eventful week and I am really really bored today! Went to Fraser Island at the weekend which was amazing, Lake Mackenzie has got to be one of the most stunning places on earth and also Lake Wabby, but wasn't a fan of the up hill mountain HIKE we had to do to get there! Also saw a dingo eating a turtle straight out of the shell which was weird and also smelt bloody horrible! I know most of you already know and have seen the video but... I DID A SKY DIVE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still absolutely buzzing, the best feeling in the entire world and i couldnt be more proud of myself for jumping out of a plane, even if i did shit myself at one point and started to wonder what he f**k i was doing! Met my cousins mate out here the other night which was weird, both knew each other were coming out but had never met each other - small world... Plus I dont think I can go anywhere without someone knowing me anyway, so I dont know why I'm surprised! So it's been 4 days since i left Byron Bay (didn't do the bike ride in the end Dean!!!) and I still want to go back! Surfers Paradise was cool but a bit too much like Benidorm, don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with Benidorm and Sticky Vicky but you dont expect to come across that sort of resort all the way over here! Thought the Aussies were a bit more sophisticated!!! Went to Movie World, Wet n Wild and Sea World in Surfers and didnt have a single drop of alcohol, still letting my liver recover after the bashing it took after my 16 hour session the other day! OMG... I am officially staying here and never leaving! Had a couple of days in Coff's Harbour in the rain, which was a bit of a non event... even though we ended up at a party with the guys from Bondi Rescue!!! Got to Byron Bay 2 days ago and it has got to be the coolest place ever! I would move here tomorrow if I could! Met some really nice people as well and my adopted mum from Vancouver Island is making her way up here today! Spent the morning in the sea with my boogie board and actually caught a couple of waves and didnt look like a beached whale, so its going well! Just need to book my surfing lessons now! Thank god I found Charley! Without her I think I might have been flying home after Newcastle! Got to Port Macquarie 2 days ago and have been wound up so much by Phil the caretaker... Never know when he's serious or not, but I am a bit thick sometimes so it's hardly surprising! Went on a little kayaking adventure yesterday morning and did some shopping in the afternoon - 5 new tops and 2 skirts (1 skirt is a size 14 so i must be doing a lot of walking to get my arse into it!! So... It didnt actually rain for long on Tuesday and because it turned out so nice we actually went to Darling Harbour for lunch then up the Sydney Tower to look at the view (which was nice, but once you've seen it, you can't spend all day looking at it!) So i haven't actually been to the aquarium at all! Spent all day yesterday on the beach at Bondi making sure that my dog shit hands and feet stay in good condition so I will post a couple of pics tomorrow just so you can see! First of all... Anyone who wants to come out here, fly first class then you wont have an annoying child waking you up every 15 minutes to go for a stroll.
