Hola! Once again sorry for not writing for so long, i guess blog writing is not my thing, but i will give you a big update now. I currently have a 5 day weekend as friday was 'day of the worker' and day of some saint of arequipa or something, so no work then and then on mon and tues all the schools in arequipa have been closed so the teachers can have meetings about swine flu, which now isnt even in peru as suspected, let alone in arequipa, but hey, any excuse for a day off! hi! just finished my first four days in the school. Spanish lessons last week were really good, but very intense and tiring! I can understand loads more than before I came but am not great at speaking yet, although I still have plenty of time. My host family are great, I live in a huge house, with at least 6 bathrooms and a maid who keeps moving my stuff around, it took me 3 days to find my other trainers. My host mum is called nana and is a champion bowler, and teaches it. My host dad is called freddie, and likes to talk alot! Hello!! Only 4 days before I leave! The cakeathon this afternoon was really good, so much cake! Also, its good to know I've fed some poor deprived children something other than mush! It was really good to see everyone, and it's all starting to feel very real and close now. I've still got a few things to sort out, but am feeling fairly quite organised and calm which I'm quite surprised about. Only 2 days left at work which is strange, it seems like I've been there forever.
