Thanks everyone for the feedback. This blog site was a terrific way to log the trip, download the best photos for each segment, and keep in touch with everyone - too time consuming to do individually when travelling. I hope to be able to print it off in book format as a permanent momento.
We look forward to catching up with our NZ friends and relations, and hope the Oz friends will come over and look us up, sometime.
Regards, Lynne and Chris

Great Summary Hi Guys,
You did just great. What a fantastic final summary and what a fabulous travelogue it has been during your adventures around oz. You should publish a book!
Home will be a strange place for a while. Hope you are acclimatised by the time we get back.
Cheers,
Rod and Deirdre
Final report Well done....Lynne it shows that you were a teacher - the dedication to keeping the news flowing and the excellent writing style were both a pleasure to receive. Chris - the vehicle looks just as good as when you collected it 2 years ago. We look foward to catching up when you need the bus (or before). Welcome home!
WOW! Congratulations Lynne and Chris!!! We loved being part of your wonderful trip thank you. Your blogs have been awesome to read, thank you for all the effort you put into these to keep us all involved in your wonderful travels. Lots of love XXXX
Hope the trip home was uneventful, and you don't have to much trouble settling down into the mandane life of house living. Will try and catch up with you next time we are in NZ.
What an amazing trip. Dear Chris and Lynne,
Firstly it will be great to see you back "home", but what an amazing trip and trip reports, from two amazing friends. For some of us that have had the opportunity and privilage to join you on some parts of your adventure, a great big thank you once again. It was incredible.
Chris, I have to congratulate you on your careful planning, care and attention to all parts of your adventure, and Lynne likewise I have to congratulate you for your navigation, ( keeping Chris from turning left, when he was surposed to turn right is not easy sometimes! especially when doris was on "P" ) also your great trip reports and those wonderful photos, and both of you for the fun and adventure we all enjoyed so much. Welcome home. Love Allen & Marijke.
What now? Hey guys, I knew this was coming to an end but still are not happy about it. What a great thing on a cold rainy Auckland arvo to see the email pop up and log in to see beaches and cliffs, desert and lakes. Great pics, but the stories really made it!
Anyway, as you are letting me down, I have done the only thing one can.....flew over to Brisbane last (long) weekend and went to the Camping and Caravan Show. Yep, you guessed it, I've got the bug. Thanks for the list of 'favourites' will plug them into the GPS, and off.....
Thanks again for sharing your trip, brilliant (I can't wait to read about...........Europe?)
Thank you guys Lynne, Chris
It's a very big thank you to you guys for taking us all on a great trip around Australia. Your blogs have been very informative, descriptive and at most times entertaining - allowing us to visualise the various areas you have been into and we have not seen photos of. It's a credit to you both for the work you have put into these blogs and you should be proud of yourselves. We are pleased it all went so well.
Once again - thank you - maybe you have saved Jill and I the trip????
See you back home
Mike & Jill
Thanks for comments. It's always good to get feedback and hear news when travelling. Rod and Deidre enjoy your last month too. We've enjoyed reading of your adventure. Thankfully the weather has improved this week. L & C
The rain on the plain Happy birthday Lynne and a safe trip home on the 28th. What a journey you both have had. We have only been away 3 months with 1 to go and that feels like a long time. We have had our share of heavy rain too, last week on the south coast of France and Spain. Much flooding and adventures. Glad Linda and Den had such a good time with you. See you in December.
Cheers, Rod and Deirdre
catchup
Great to get your Blog. Sorry to know that you got caught up in that rain but sounds as though you had a great time with Linda and Dennis anyway. Can't believe it has been two and bit years since you set off on your Australian adventure and you have covered a huge number of kilometres in the process. Wish Donald and Patti best wishes for there adventure. Hopefully the NZ weather will have settled dowen by the time you are back. Tony, Brenda and I were thinking of having a lunch in November sometime with Robin and Brian etc. at Matakana so will be in contact once you get back and try and set a date as the silly season is looming and everyone gets very busy. Looking forward to catching up soon, will give you a ring at Tracey and Kents'.

letting us "live the dream" Well I think the pictures say it all and anyway you can't see any rain! The pictures and your blog are awesome Lynn, well done for getting your blog sorted in amongst all the packing up you have to do. We LOVED our time with you and consider it an absolute privilege being allowed to come over and travel with you. Thank you, and we look forward to picking you up at the airport. Lots of love XX
Great Thank you so much for including me in your emails. I am sorry it is coming to an end, but will be happy to see you back in N.Z.
It truly has been great hearing, and seeing the pictures, of your fabulous adventure. It made me feel like I was there.
Cheers, Susi
Hi from a cold and shakey NZ Hi folks. Great to get the latest up dates of your travels, especially with Linda and Denis there. Margaret and i are sorry that we have not been able to join with you during the past 2 years, but that is life back here for you. We have just had 2 weeks away to Wellington and myself to Westport for 1 of the weeks. Had a great time finishing with a weekend on Waiheke with Deborah, Malcolm and Neve.
We are both back into work with a very tight program from here to Christmas.
Best of luck with the remainder of your travels and look forward to meeting up on your return.
Regards to all,
Graeme and Margaret.
Keep on trucking Great to think of you on the other side of the world exploring things as we are. Long term travel certainly grows on you, we are almost reluctant to come home and are already planning next year's trips. You obviously had fun with Denis and Linda, everyone is looking very healthy and relaxed in the photos.
Warmest regards Rod and Deirdre.
Returning to NZ Hi, glad you enjoy my blog.
We will return to NZ after 2 years, 3 months travelling around Australia. We have really enjoyed our time here, and have found our rig perfect for what we have been doing. There is still more to see, so we will be back again . Cheers Lynne
Sellin the rig I have been following your adventures and have really enjoyed your travel blog.
Are you done travelling for a while? Is that why you have sold the rig?
Back in our old stamping ground. Gee I'm jealous you've been to Sapphire more than me this year. Hope you left some good stones for me. I sent an email a few days ago as Snow needs Chris to ring him. I think it is something important so can you call him as soon as you can.
Looks like you are heading our way. It will be good to catch up.
Love Zena
catchup You sound as though you have been having rain a bit like us. Yesterday and hopefully today will be the first rain free days we have had for sometime and long may it continue. Hope you enjoy your last leg of your journey with Linda and Denis. How great is it that Donald and his wife Pattie are buying your rig - takes all the stress out of it!!! Donald doesn't seem to have changed at all from your photo and would know him anywhere. Had Ollie and Ricco for the weekend and they were very good. Ben is having his second birthday today with a little party that seems to have grown to 16 in number the last I heard. Poppy the new dog is settling in and once we have taught her a few more manners she will be fine- I do think she thinks she has died and gone to heaven. Look forward to seeing you back in October.
Love

Rain! It seems that the Mac's are not to be outdone, they have brought the rain too! Such a pity when we are in nice places. Tonight at Horseshoe Bay, Bowen, eating prawns and fresh pineapple, temp 29 degrees, enjoying a nice wine. All good , except we're missing the sun, most of the time. Hope it's better tomorrow, as we're staying here for 2 nights, and have a lovely beach a few steps away.
Cheers, Lynne and Chris
New Launch is on Order! Hi you lot,
Whats this about 27 deg water temp. Next time I am going over when the Mac's go. However nice to see the rig is sold, so on that basis I have ordered your new Launch so that it will be ready for you when you arrive home.
Cheers to everone
