Bring back memories? Hi Lynne and Chris. Do you feel like starting off again for the Telegraph Track? I guess that re-visiting Cairns will bring back some memories of our great trip. Enjoy and trust that we can catch up with you during your time back here. Safe travelling.
Graeme and Margaret.
Great to hear you are heading back to NZ for a visit. Unfortunately the time you are here, we will be in the States. We leave Sunday the 29th and get back the end of Sept.

Oh No just the thought of selling up and heading home must be hard! Or is it time, are you all sight seen out? You make us soo jealous every time we read your blog but soo glad we know someone who is having such a great time. We had a fantastic trip to Broom and have decided to change our thinking and try to go for 3 months in 2 years time we will see. We stayed at eighty mile beach that was my highlight I liked that the most and Pardoo station was nice. I still have trouble believing how many people live in caravans for ever!!! Well we are doing a weekend at Herron Point this weekend, just to get away and still love using Clasy Ldy. Well keep taking care of each other lots of love and good thoughts Steve asnd Lou x
Warm and wonderful! Looks absolutely fabulous in your photos, thanks for sharing them all. Lovely to see the beautiful blue skies. Let us know your arrival time so we can pick you up at the airport. Lots of love XX
We missed the Swim. Hi guys,
What this swimming all about. You didn't organise that for us, shame on you. The weather must be be warmer so great to see you enjoying the sunshine while we poor souls are slogging it out back at work, in the freezing cold.
Not at all fair!
Cheers,
Gladstone Hi Lynne, This brings back memories. We lived in Gladstone for a couple of years, back in 1980,81. It was either 12 or 14 Allunga Drive, on the outskirts then. John was working on the Power Station. Cheers Ann
Love to catch up Hi Mardi and Bap
We will gradually make our way up the coast to Cairns, nothing booked, will take pot luck! Hopefully it's not too booked out. We fly out of Cairns 25th Aug for 3 weeks, back to Cairns 15th Sept, then make our way back down to Brisbane with our NZ friends Linda and Denis, getting back to Brisbane on 8th Oct. Will keep in touch, and look forward to seeing you again. Cheers Lynne and Chris
Moore's visit Great to see what you got up to while Allen and Marijke were with you. Have been hanging out to hear what you have been doing! Looks like a good trip with lots of distance covered. Fraser island is an interesting place to see-brought back lots of memories. Noticed the jerseys and long pants!! Thanks for the photos via email Lynne, much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you from Cairns. XX

Back in the tropics! Good to see you have made it back to Brisbane and hopefully warmer weather. You sure have had some wet weather over there but it will be great to see the rivers up higher. Have a neat time with Moores on the Sunshine coast. Hope you can talk Phil into going for a sail!!Den is just off to the marina meeting. XX
Hi The carved emu eggs are absolutely amazing - just beautiful.
I can, and then can't believe it has been two years since you started this adventure. What a trip for the two of you. Carl and I feel priviledged to have been privey to your travel blogs. We have loved them.
Stay well you two, and keep sending the "news"
Cheers,
Susi
"Crocks, noodles and dressing gowns" - oh my. It almost sounds like a foreign language. The hot pools would have been wonderful. When Carl and I were doing the South Island earlier this year, we stayed a few days in Hanmer Springs. The Springs had changed so much since our previous visit, and had pools with varying degrees as well. I loved it, but especially loved it one afternoon when it was raining. I can only imagine it with snow falling about. That will be for another trip.
Continue to enjoy your adventure and sharing it with us
Hi Lynnne n Chris.......love reading your adventures..........congrats to your great pic painting...is excellent. Would you believe we are up in Kakadu area........being bitten by huge mozzies....have met up and travelling with friends we made from S.A last year. Have been to Ubirr, Cahills Crossing now Jabiru.......we still have to go back to our sons at Bowen yet...........Happy days of travells to you both.........cheers Mardi N bap
Great artworks! Just looked at your post with Jill and Phil. LOVE your painting Lynne-keep at it! Good to see you are still hunting out those gems. Had a great birthday with mum today she was in her element, even the staff made a cake and all came and sang her "Happy Birthday". All in all a successful day. Happy traveling and fossicking. Lots of love XX
Hi folks, Great to see more of your adventures. Sorry that i missed Bailey's, but i was sitting it out in 90 knts of wind. Quite challenging for 48 hours but came through it all ok. Throughly enjoyed the island cruising and exploring. I will have to try and get back up there again.
Enjoy you travels and look forward to more updates. I will try in due course to send some photos to you of my trip.
Regards and best wishes,
Graeme and Margaret.
Thanks Thanks Susi, I had never done pastels before, and really enjoyed myself. I have done some acrylic painting over here, just playing around, the scenery lends itself to being painted.
