What a fantastic journey! Hey guys,
So sorry to hear of your sad news, I'm really pleased that you were able to make it to both funerals despite the difficulties you endured.
I have loved reading your tales of your adventures and it's been fantastic to see all your photos. Dave is right in saying the last ones from MP are absolutely stunning. It's somewhere I've always fancied going and you really have inspired me to try and do something about achieving my own travel goals!
Really looking forward to a proper catch up chat sometime in the not to distant future. It's dawned on me that I have no idea what your plans were for your return.....
the end of a long journey Hi Guys,
The pictures of MP are stunning, and it must of been ace watching the fog roll back to reveal the remains. A fitting end to your travels
That guinea pig reminds me of Aliens 4 when a baby alien explodes out of Ripley
She survived The defibrillator came in handy. Mary's heart rate and breathing are almost back to normal after reading about the bus trip! Glad to hear everything turned out o.k. Looking forward to seeing you both.
mama delong food?!!?? excellent!!!!
Mary- I have a list for you to get food!!! I love mama Delong cooking!!! I am happy to have recieved some from Brigid when she came... I was lucky enough to get a whole plate of mama delong cookies. Yum yum yum!!! It was SO great to see you guys! I miss you already! Come back!!! p.s.- the girl below me started singing bob marley last night-- she's SO awful!!
have a great time in S. America! Have a picola for me!!!
leaving It looks like you found a great place to end this part of your trip. The scenery is great and seems to be an idealic place to relax and take life easy. You will be back in the U.S. by the time that you read this and it will all be a memory. The beach bungalow looked a little questionable. It looks like Lachlan sitting on the bed(?) in the shadows. I look forward to talking to you both about your whole trip when you are back.
Merry christmas Hey, merry christmas. Me and Iza are missing you guys. While you are sunning it up in paradise we were in the Crown. Don't be jealous ;)
Happy birthday!! Ooops...Sorry, I thought I was Frosty for a moment. Merry Christmas!!! hehe Hope you're enjoying the beach, and beverages. It's good to know you're treating Ernst right!
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays B and L! Enjoy the warm weather and the travels. The pics are great, but B, you'd look soo much better in Cubbie blue! ;)
Merry Christmas!! I'm sorry you had such a lousy holiday sitting on the beach drinking beer. I really do feel for you. Try not to get too depressed while sunbathing and playing in the ocean.
PUPPY! Did they cut the doggy's head off? Or kill it some other way? Was it quick? Did the doggy cry???
Everything else sounds great, especially meals with valium ground up in them (its been a stressful month), but that dog thing is disturbing.
Buddha The photos are great as usuall. The Buddha statues are different that what you usually think of (a sitting fat guy). Glad you are finding things more relaxing. I not sure who has the worst hairdo Ernst or Lachlan. I'm thinking maybe Lachlan. I was glad to see that Ernst is holding together well through all the traveling. Think of us while you are basking in the sun over Christmas as we have about 6-7" of snow and is below 32 degrees F. Thanks for the emails.
Frozen in the Lou Well I am jealous I can say that much. We haven't seen the sun in I think about 4 days now. It rains/snows/sleets at least 3 hrs a day. It looks like you guys have found your haven. Glad to hear your trip has improved from India.
Lachlans " not shaving" I would like to dispute the fact that Lachlan isn't shaving... there is no proof of it on his face. I haven't shaved in a week and have more facial hair than he does.
Either you lie or he has no... balls :)
Lachlan: 28 years old, born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. Moved to the USA in April 2002 'for' Brigid, who is now my wife of almost 2 years. Sporty, goofy scientist, about to quit my job in genetics to travel the world for 10 months.
Likes: food, beer, wine and feather duvets
Dislikes: shopping, pain, passive aggressive VISA/immigration people
Interesting fact: If anyone asks, I am not 'the brain'
Brigid: yeah, ok, now 29 years old, born and raised in St. Louis, MO (USA), home of Budweiser and Cardinals baseball. Married to crazy, 'out there' Scottish guy for two happy years. Anot... full info
