GRR
Have really enjoyed your blog. Very nice to see a list of best items for the trip and the cost summary, etc. You didn't see any snakes!! We did a 19,000km trip, mostly coastal, and saw no whales. Wrong season, I guess.

Mertens water monitor lizard

Goanna
Love your blogs. What an amazing part of Oz. Never been myself (but plan to one day). You've labelled this critter a Merten's water Monitor. Isn't it a Sandy? (Sand Goanna).

Loonies?
In bed early and up at the crack of dawn, that's not just for loonies, it happens if you have kids too! Why didn't they let Grant fly the helicopter? Come on, you have heaps of helicopter hours up in a variety of makes ;-)

Wow!
Sounds like you guys are having a great trip! Awesome photo's and blog - keep it up. I noticed you had lasagne for your first bought meal in a week! We went La Zuca on Friday but didn't have Roger's lasagne this time (shock horror). I see Grant fed the fish but didn't seem to want to feed the crocodile :-) Have an emu larger for me, stay safe and have fun.

interesting blog both this and the previous Bungle Bungle blog. Sounds like you're really enjoying it and getting into camper mode! Got over long stint of exit poll yesterday, handed over to someone at around 3pm. No conclusive result to Election - I went to bed early tired after 5am. start and was glad I didn't stay up as today it looks a bit like hung parliament territory and no definite winner. Weather here very cold, windy, chilly. I worked yesterday in a t-shirt, cashmere sweater and warm woollen coat and scarf and just about warm enough!! It'll be warmer by the time you get here!!

Sounds like an adventure!
It sounds like you are having a fabulous time Anne and Grant! It is great to read what you are doing and your photos are really good Anne :-) The nicest thing it that you seem to have most of it to yourselves. Enjoy the rest of the trip xx

Interesting blog and pictures. Reading it and seeing the sign post to next services really drives home the fact you're miles from anywhere of any size! Into the real outback. Comical story about the travelling cat. I particularly liked the fact they had got it its own seat so it could see out!!! You'll be doing that for Murphy next!! And its own toilet!
