We are back into the grips of reality. It is good to see all our friends and family but we are having a hard time being back in the rat race. Jan asked me the other day "Did we really just go to Sweden and drive to Turkey?". It seems like such a long time ago. We had an amazing time visiting Jan's friends and family. We are back in Sweden after 3 months on the road. We have driven over 10,000 miles and explored 20 countries. Wow - We cant believe we have been in Europe for almost 5 months already and are flying back to Oregon in 10 days. It is a bitter sweet feeling!!!! We both agree we could have spent at least another couple months (or longer) living in the Blue Betty. We are currently in denial that we have to leave her in Sweden. Hello Quick update - We drove from Turkey through Northern Greece down the coast of Albania and Montenegro and now are in Croatia headed to Bosnia. Blue Betty is running great and we are still amazed at our adventure daily. We have been on Mr. toads wild ride at times driving on crazy roads and no traffic rules (Albania) . Jan and Betty are one being by now. I have learned how to navigate and keep my mouth shut. I really am good with a map and am a great camp cook. The weather could not be better. There is so much to see in Turkey we are still here. We are currently spending the night camping on the coast of the Dead Sea/Blue Lagoon. We have rounded the most Southern tip of Turkey and are headed along the Western Coast towards Greece. We spent last night and most of today in Kekova/Simena. We found this Jewel of a spot and did not want to leave. You can only get to this spot by boat or park and hike in. We hiked over a big hill, through a Castle, and down hundreds of step to find this little village. [View Full Entry]

Hello - stıll cruzın through Turkey. We are on the South Coast headed West up the beach. There are so many Hıstorıcal thıngs to see. Turkısh people have to be the nıcest people ın the world. We are now in Cappadocia, Turkey. We are camping among the Fairy Chimneys under the full moon with a hot air balloon parade to wake us at sunrise. It is the most amazing place I have ever seen. Just a quick Hello. I do not have enough time on the internet to update the blog with pictures this morning but wanted give an update on our progress.. We have gone through nine countries. We are currently in Budapest, Hungary and going to make it to the Beaches of Bulgaria on the Black Sea before the end of Month. We will take another route back to the North but for now am trying to catch all the warm weather of the South. Blue Betty is so great.
