Ibiza Hi Kathy and Bernie....
Once again....muchas gracias! These pics are wonderful and your background story is great...as always. I have only recently had a bit of interest in visiting Ibiza mostly because of a very famous or maybe up and coming Flamingo vocalist who hails from Mallorca named: Concha Buika.
I am in love with this woman's voice and her music! Whenever I go, I will definitely be seeking out any and all concerts that she does. I am certain that you might enjoy her music too with her sultry and souful vocals and mix of flamingo, jazz, samba, bossa nova sound.
Stay well....

Great Blog Finallly took the time to look at the blog you created on our wonderful Greece trip. I plan to have Jack and our family read it soon. You did a great job in summing up the history and particular beauty of each spot we visited. Thanks for sending us the connection.
WOW! Hi Kathy and Bernie, I sure loved the tour, history and pics! Ken went on an art tour of the islands about 10 years ago and came home with only art history and pictures of doors and statues. Thank you for rounding out the experience for me! Phyl
I enjoyed reading your traveling report and looking at your pictures as always! Now I'm even more excited about going to Turkey in July=)

What a year! Hi Guys.....Great pics and a nice job on recapping a big year. I just love how you are so good about catching a visit with any and all friends and family in your path.
All is well in AK, was so good to see you, if only for a little bit. I sure want to get to AZ some day. Take care and relax a little! Hee!
Love, RoseMarie
Terrific! Hey B and K! Thank you sooooo much for sharing such wonderful stories and photos of you, family and your travels--what a great way to keep everyone updated on your many adventures!
Congrats, K on your graduation from your Desert Museum course....I know it was a challenge given your already hectic schedule, but you got through it. If I can ever find my way out to AZ....I'd love to check out the museum.
BTW.....don't know if you're planning any trips to Europe in the coming weeks, but if so, I would love to meet up with you in Switzerland during the second week of Feb. '08, which is when I will be there for a training. I then hope to stay on a few extra days to enjoy the sights of Switzerland as well as some of the neighboring countries.
Thanks again for sharing all those wonderful pics!
ciao, ciao....

B and K!......Thank you for sharing your pics and experiences travelling though Ireland; it's obvious that you had a fantastic time there! :-) And how nice that you'll get to return every so often as Bernie completes his dissertation. I look forward to seeing and hearing more about the Doherty family's future "baptist, televangelist " in the coming years!

Great Travel Blog It was fun to read this since I've not been to those parts of Africa. You saw many animals that I haven't seen, although many I have including the Bush Baby....so cute, huh? I loved my trips to East and West Africa, and after reading your journal makes me want to return.
Thanks for keeping me posted, I'm enjoying your interesting narrative and stunning pictures.
But rather you than me, when it comes to hippos between bed and bathroom. I remember being terrified as a kid staying overnight with families whose dogs forgot who was a "friend" as soon as it got dark!
I doubt that twyfel fontain means 12 fountains, since twyfel (twijfel) means doubt. So dubious fountain? Hesitant fountain (sometimes working/sometimes not?)
Anyway, keep on having fun and keep on blogging!
You are such wonderful representative of our country. Thank you. We are traveling in our 5th wheel. Went to Cape Cod to celebrate oldest son's birthday(how many, I'll take the 5th). We are on the way home. Now on Louisiana/Texas border head for Las Cruces, N. Mex where Ray's grandson is getting married. We have about 5,400 miles on the road. Our butts are paralized. Love hearing from you.
February 2020. We are still in Tucson, Arizona, well, often anyway. We continue our wanderings and enjoying our adventures. We haven't lived outside the US in awhile, but have lived in: Guatemala, Ecuador, the Netherlands (twice), Germany (twice) and South Africa. We have now traveled to well over 100 countries, but that doesn't mean we plan on stopping any time soon. ... full info
