Peace Boat Hi Caroline,
I recently applied to volunteer on Peace Boat and came across your useful blog. I was curious, did you continue to try? Is it still your dream? I haven't heard anything back from them yet. Did you receive any email informing you if you didn't get an interview? Happy New Year and wish you best on your dreams!!
Peace Boat Hi there- I made it as far as submitting a 10 min video of a sample class and introducing myself. I believe I did get a notification that I did not make it any further and that is where I ended. It is still a dream of mine, just that timing hasn't been right. I would to know more about your process and where you are. Please let me know. And good luck, Kari
I love your topic Hey, wonderful talk, I presume, the topic is just so crucial to the learning of languages, well done, and thanks for the sharing of tips.

Difficult but not impossible This is an awesome goal. My goal is 50, so please have a drink for me when you reach your 50th country in the Dominican Republic. I think travelling to all countries is an incredibly difficult goal, but not impossible. As for travelling with kids... it is challenging but just a matter of getting organised; we are not a very good example of this, as since Ella was born, 2 years ago, we haven't been travelling much, but there are quite a number of TBers who travel with kids, names that come to my mind now are Maisondubonheur, MichaelnFayne, ThroughMyEyes and aspiringnomad, but I know there are lots more you can get inspiration from.
Thanks! What number are you on now? I'm sure you'll make it to 50! A couple of people have mentioned maisondubonheur, for live aboard diving and now for traveling with kids. I have checked out their site. Quite impressive and inspiring to know that it can in fact be done!
So you are off to Poland and Eastern Europe!!! I can't wait to read your blogs. As for live aboard diving, you might want to read Maisondubonheur's blogs on that subject...mostly Thailand.
No te rindas, algún día llegarás a tu meta, suerte!
es una otra cosa tenemos en comun. Mi padre y yo no tienen un relcion, solo es de mi mama. Tenemos muchos diferenincias en nuetro vida. Que lastima, pero es lo que hay
Yes, it's true. There are still parts of the island that are very well preserved due to the fact that they've kept it off limits to the public because of possible unexploded bombs and such.
After traveling on the Great White mother for the millineum voyage on Semester at Sea I set a goal to travel to all 7 continents... after moving to Chile (South America #6) and traveling south I made it to Antarctica... number 7. Weddings brought me to the states for a year where I received my masters in education. I found a job in Honduras and got out of the states once again. Seems this travel bug is more than just a bug, but rather a lifestyle now. I returned to Fort Collins, Colorado after a year teaching in Honduras where I have been now for the past 6 years, but I've not stopped trav... full info
