Our cruise ended today, and we immediately made our way back to the airport. We checked in our luggage and figured out that we had hours before our flight. We decided to take a taxi to International Drive in Orlando. It looked like an interesting place to go that wasn't too far from the airport. We didn't really do anything there. We just walked around and looked at the sights. There were a lot of interesting buildings along that street. We saw the Ripley's Believe it or Not! It was more expensive than we wanted to spend, so we decided not to go inside. Another interesting building was WonderWorks. It was pretty cool to see an upside-down building. St. Maarten is an island that is owned by the French and by the Dutch. St. Maarten is the Dutch side, and St. Martin is the French side. Our ship docked on the Dutch side, but we wanted to see both sides of the island. We decided to go on a bus tour that would take us all around the island. Our first stop on the tour was Orient Beach, which is a nude beach because it is on the French side. Thankfully, we didn't see any nude people when we were there. Orlando-Port Canaveral We arrived in Orlando in the morning. At the airport, we found a taxi van to take us to Port Canaveral. We were originally going to walk around Cape Canaveral, since it was too early to board the ship, but since we were so tired, we decided to just go straight to the port. We were so glad that we did, becuase we ended up being able to board almost immediately, and since it was so early, there were very few people on the ship. We were able to get familiar with the ship without having hoards of people around, and we took some cool pictures of the ship without having a bunch of people in our shot.
