North to Labrador and Newfoundland

The Trans-Labrador Highway wanders some 650 miles across Labrador and down the East Coast of Canada to the mouth of the St Lawrence River. Part gravel, it runs through a desolate region of sub arctic forest, lakes and rivers, and exercises a perverse attraction on drivers and riders who attempt it once the snows have melted. I intend to go North through Quebec to Labrador City, and then ride the highway Southeast to the St Lawrence River. If all goes well, I will cross over to Newfoundland to explore before returning home to Arlington. Well, that's the plan. Many a slip...
