The Painted Door Project Man oh Man Jenni...or should I say Door oh Door. What a fabulous collection. I am posting your blog and some of your pics in TB's "Doors, doors & more doors" thread in the Photography forum. Check 'em out.
Camino... It is probably best that you delay your walk. Both you and I are planners, which allows us to visualize the pending experience, and prepare ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually in order to get the most out of what can be the most fulfilling journey of a lifetime.
Lovin' These I'm loving the newest iteration of the travel blog, and really lije the underwater pics despite your critique of them@ Im glad you're back at it!
Camino... I didn't realize you are walking a Camino immediately after you return from the Maldives. I hop you can get some rest, because if you are walking the Norde route, as you say, it is more difficult with all the ups and owns, than the Frances with its share of hills. As for walking alone, you should have no problem forming friendships with strangers along the way. I hope you found this out my reading my blogs. Now get some sleep even if you use Ambien.
Researching the Camino de Santiago... You might want to look at my blogs regarding my pilgrimage on the Camino Frances in Sep/Oct 2016. The first is my planning blog dated 4 Sep 2016. I was inspired b the movie "The Way" with Martin Sheen and his son Emilio Estavez.
Sleep... I always get a prescription for Ambien, one pill for each day, when I travel between multiple time zones. It helps mitigate jet lag. I guess sleeping in the shade of a palm tree on a white sand beach next to an azure sea would work even better!
Safe and Sound Well once agin an interesting and fact filled vacation blog come to an end. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your day to day adventures as well as the beautiful pictures you shared. Best part of this vacation for me was the time you took everyday so we could talk. It certainly calmed me knowing that day by day you were alright. As many vacas as you have taken it still amazes me what a strong person you are to accomplish all that you do. Maybe some day I will have the courage to follow in your footsteps. Thank you for who you are :)
Beirut mosques & churches I have posted some of your pics in our "Cathedrals, grand churches, mosques & places of public worship" thread in the Photography Forum. Check 'em out. Love this one!
I recently found out that Edward I... was my 21st great grandfather. I guess I'll have to visit Caernarfon Castle. It is near Bangor where my son attended law school, so I have two reasons to visit Wales. I hope I have better weather than you!
Breathing a Sigh of Relief As excited as I am to read each and every one of your intertwining blogs, I always look forward to the one that signals the end of another journey. After all these years of traveling alone, I am always amazed at your enthusiasm, bravery and preserverance no matter what your travels may bring. Good job Jenn on yet another successful summer trip and glad your home safe and sound....Love you lots......Mom
