LOL
Jason I'm glad to see that you are having lots of fun and helping to make us Americans look like bigger fools to the rest of the world. ;-) I love that you had to play with the high tech toilet and sang lots of karaoke by yourself. Thank you for sharing both your educational experiences (which I really have enjoyed) and the fun ones. Be safe!

Jason, this made me cry. I know how your mom loved Monterey, we loved it together. Those were good memories, we had fun on those trips and she could let loose and be her fun self.

feeling connected
I just wrote on your other entry how much your Mom would have loved to experience this trip either with you or via your blog entries. P.S. I think she would have called Miyajima, "Awesome!"

your cardio reward
I'm loving your travel blogs! What an amazing trip! It looks like the stairs paid off with some beautiful views, too. Missing you dearly, and wishing I could check in with your mom each time I read these. She would have been so blown away by your journey. XOXO, Laur

Greetings, Jason!!
Your blog site is enchanting, as are your descriptions and photos of your adventures! You look so happy and it truly warms my heart to know that you are sharing your loving spirit with the people across the globe! Your students will be equally blessed by your first-hand experiences when you are back in the classroom, too!! Enjoy your trip and soak it all in (fishy dinners and carnivorous deer included! ;-) Love to you, and may God bless you and keep you, Jason!

Thanks!
Thank you for thinking of me Jason. Yes the place looks like heaven on earth. How blessed you are to be able to see all that beauty and write about it and how blessed I am to be able to know you and see the beautiful pictures and read all about your experiences. love, Mom

Genius
Jason dear you are a genius. You write so beautifully. As they say a good writer makes one feel we are part of the book and yes I feel I am there with you. I really think you you think of publishing some of your writings. Take care my dear and big hugs, Maria

Monkeys
Hey, I saw monkeys in Peru - right off the Manu and Madre de Dios river banks! And, of course, in trees.

Hi Jason
Hi Jason, I'm at Kelley's with Cameron. This is the first of your emails I've received. This is #5. Don't know where 1,2,3 and 4 are! As with your previous adventures, I'm loving reading your 'blogs'. I really think you should become a writer. PERU was fantastic. Don't think I'd do it again, but had a great time. However, the old grey mare aint what she used to be. Love you, be careful! xoxoxo Jill

Wow!
Life does go on, but some things still seem so terribly wrong. Good for those students and their petitions. Peace is possible! Love you!

Deer
The deer story almost made me pee my pants. That's the way I feel about squirrel (especially the ones at UCLA). I don't think we are supposed to feed wild animals. Your description of Kyoto is simply enchanting! It is now on my list.

the Great Buddha

Wow.......what a powerful imagine...I can only imagine being in front of it. Breathe it all in!

Tokyo
I was dying about your and Billy's differing eating habits!!! I'm actually with you on this one. I'm all for the local food fair and try desperately to stay away from anything American while traveling abroad. I had no clue there were 7-11s in Japan! That's crazy! I hope you find your fresh fruits and vegetables (which I'm sure you will). Tell Billy I said hi if you haven't already departed his company! Loving the blog and you!

Jason! Such an amazing trip of a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your journey, your words and descriptions are magical.

My favortie
This is my favorite entry so far! The deer story reminds me of the aggressive pigeons in Italy, I was laughing so hard while mentally picturing you running from the big bad deer! Enjoy your time alone, I'm sure you will find some very healing moments coming to you. Love you and be safe, Terrilynn
