Barf Bus!!!
That was a spectacular bus ride! I got a second taste of it on our flight to Hanoi. The girl next to me was so sick!!! Sorry we didn't hang out much in Hoi An. We were exhausted and needed to get packed for our flight. See you in Cambodia!!!

Dear Jason, I am glad to hear you survived the barf mobile. It didn't sound pleasant but don't hate me because I'm beautiful ... oh, wait a minute, ... ADD kickin in? ... anyways, so I brushed my teeth this morning ... ok, ... so back to the barf mobile... you are safe and relatively content? ... Be safe and enjoy the journey you sought to take ... know that friends here and there are thinking of you ... know that we love you ... Cheers! ... more thoughtful comments to come.......

I've heard about so many great things about Nha Trang and the beaches there. Nha Trang was my mother's birth-place. You didn't describe the smell on the barf bus....what was that like? :P

VietNam ~ Barf bus, etc
Can I first say the pix were fan-friggin-tastic? Just beautiful!! Having said that ... I think I would have died having to listen to Hotel California (in ANY language, broken or not!) ... that is probably my all-time most hated song!!! I don't know why, just always NEVER liked it. :) Barf bus ... OMG OMG O. M. G. how did you NOT heave??? Just the odor alone, coupled with the fingerless lady and hot air??? You and the Warner's have guts of steel!!!!!!! As always, looking forward to the next installment!! Thanks for letting me travel vicariously through you ... <3

Excellent Blog entry....
My daughter is Stephanie and she had commented (via Facebook) on how much she enjoys the way you write! I respect Stephanie's judgement, therefore, I clicked on the link. I am pleased that I took the time to peruse this Blog entry. Thank you for caring enough to share your adventure. Best Wishes, Rick Stotelmeyer

So exciting!
I'm quite curious of the village that you visited along the Mekong Delta that made coconut candy. My dad's old village was next to the Mekong Delta and they specialized in coconut treats. The program of Workability International is incredible. My family typically looks for trustworthy and honest charities in Vietnam to donate to. I'll definitely let them know about this one!!

Laughed so hard I cried over this blog. Love the contrast in your educational journey and your modern day cultural immersion (literally)!

OMG
LMFAO! Awesome blog entry. Your trip is so in line with where I want to go in Asia. Now I definitely want to go back to Japan! I grew up in Okinawa from 6 months old to 5 years. My dad's ashes are spread around the coast of Okinawa. He really loved Japan. Then you know I am half Vietnamese! Cannot wait to read about your adventures there. I work at Honda now and I must say I am very upset we don't have these specialty toilets here in the US. Where can I get one of those things! :)

Question
I'm assuming this is the group you were taking over to Vietnam. You don't speak of ever being in a group (other than Chris and John). Did you not do the group?
