Day 1: Our adventure has finally begun, after months of waiting, this May. My two best friends decided to surprise me with the best birthday gift anyone could possibly imagine: a seven day trip to Chile, Libya, Indonesia, Bosnia, and Luxembourg! Here we were, heading to the airport, and we could hardly wait. Our first stop was Easter Island. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 12:00 am, a total flight time of 7 Hrs. 20 Min. We spent the first 20 minutes laughing and giggling about experiences we’ve had, and the rest of the time, we spent fast asleep. I woke up to the flight attendant's voice announcing our arrival. Indonesia We had fell asleep on the plane and woke up just as it touched the ground. I looked at the clock and saw that it was about 3:50 a.m., the time we were scheduled to arrive at the Ngurah Rai International Airport. We groggily walked down the steps of the jet and picked up our luggage. As we did in Libya, we went to the ATM and exchanged $200 for 2,528,978.94 rupiah. The airplane finally landed at Benina International Airport in Benghazi Libya at 10:10 a.m. Although a bit exhausted from our interregional migration (migrating from one geographic realm to another), we stepped out of the plane excitedly and stared in awe at our surroundings. The sun was out and the weather was so beautiful that we wanted to waste no time. Upon reaching the airport, we went to the Libyan ATM and traded in $200 for 264.80 Dinars.
