questions on the trip Hi,
I enjoyed reading your blogs. Thanks! How long was your stay in Japan? How many days would you recommend for someone visiting Japan for the 1st time after your experience there.
Also for your road trip in Europe, how do you cover the auto insurance? Do you pay for insurance thru the rental company? Was it expensive?
Thanks! Siew
NYC I absolutely love New York City, I happen to live in the East Village, if you get a chance you should go down there. In particular Astor place is a nice street :) The EV is full of art! Anyways I thought I would share a new site with you its called,
www.baraaza.com
Its a cool site for travelers to interact with other people. So check Out the East Village, and check out the site and tell me how you like them :)

Hello Hello.
We are a family of 4 travelling round Asia. We are from America. We also have a travelling blog set up, and one day when we were taking a look at other peoples adventures, we saw one of your blogs. Ever since we have been reading your about your marvellous adventures. Your holiday sounds very exciting, and we wish we were on the same holiday. When we read one of your blogs to our kids, one of them asked, "Why aren't we on a 6 month holiday? We are currently in China. We will send in more comments to you soon. Well, bye!

great start Looks like a great start. never mind the weather as it is cold and rainy here with snow in the hills. Japan must be a real eye opener, that electric corner is the one they show on most tv shots of tokyo, a rival to time square in NY that you will see later. keep it up and we'll keep watching.
