We were about to land back in Australia. I couldn’t wait. The plane landed. I was home. We got our bags and luggage and left the airport. My uncle and my cousin were waiting for us. They drove us to our new home. As we were driving along, I recognised a lot of the roads and streets. And finally we were there. I think it was strange, coming back from a 6 month trip and into a new house, but I reckon it’s not bad, since we’re still in the same area. We got a fair bit of our stuff in the house that day. I guess there’s nothing else to really say. Because, we’re not abroad any more. My experience overseas was amazing. I did so many things that I didn't believe I could. I ... read more

For the last 5 days, I have been in Disneyland. I had the best time ever. We arrived at night. It took us a while to get from the airport to our hotel, but we got there, and just in time. When we went into our hotel room, we heard a loud BANG! We rushed outside. We saw the beautiful Disney fireworks. It was an amazing sight. The next day, we bought a 5 day pass for each of us and walked down to Disneyland. As we entered, the first thing I noticed was how happy it was. Everybody was smiling. It was fantastic. On the first day, we went to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. When we were in Tomorrowland, I told dad that we had to ride space mountain. We walked up, but it wasn’t working ... read more

For the last 2 weeks, I've been in Canada. It was a thrill to go from the busy streets of New York to the beautiful country. In motor home number 3, we went to lots of places and had a wonderful time. Our first stop was Banff. The first day was too cold to go anywhere so we decided to stay indoors and keep warm. The second day was started by going to the Banff Information Centre. We watched a short video about Banff National Park. It was very interesting. After, we travelled to the Banff Hot Springs. as soon as I stepped into the warm water I didn't want to get out. It was so relaxing! After reluctantly getting out of the spring, we travelled on to the Johnson Canyon Falls. It was a nice ... read more

Going from Turkey to New York was a huge time difference. When we got into New York, it was 6:30pm. Unfortunately, we couldn’t just reset our body clocks like our digital ones. To us, it was past midnight. When we got to or accommodation, we literally collapsed onto the beds. When we woke up, it was 4:00am. The first day in New York was started out by going to the Empire State Building. We took 2 elevators up to the top. One went up 80 floors! From the top, the view of Manhattan was amazing! The people looked like little ants and the ants where microscopic. After taking a billion photos of the fantastic view, we went down in the elevator. If I lived there, I wouldn’t be too happy if the elevator was out of ... read more

We woke up early and took our plane to Istanbul, Turkey. On our plane, it was a 4 hour flight. Enough to watch at least one movie. Unfortunately, the plane we were on didn’t have TV’s at the back of the seats. Oh well, we’ll have them next time (hopefully). We had a look at our new accommodation. It’s really nice. Mum and Dad are in one room, me, Albert and Jack in the other. We had dinner at a fish restaurant. The next day, we had a look around. We went to the Blue Mosque. The carpet was really soft. We weren’t allowed to wear shoes inside. Dad had to wear a skirt thing because he was wearing shorts. The huge domes was held up by four half domes, and the half dome were held ... read more

Hi guys! Well, Scotland was wonderful, and being reunited with electronics is awesome. I can't decide which one I like better... nah, just kidding! We travelled for hours and hours but in the end we got to our destination, Edinburgh. But while we were travelling, we passed a town called Carluke. My dads name is Carl Luke. Scary. We stopped to take photos and then travelled on. The first night we got put in the late arrivals. It wasn't that bad though. The next day we all had a bit of a rest day. All exept Albert and Dad. They had gone into town to get Albert's plaster off. It rained and rained. We made a banana cake for them. We waited and waited and finally, they came. Albert's arm looked really skinny. It looked freaky! ... read more

We said a sad goodbye to our London apartment. Before we said a proper goodbye, we went to the Princess Diana Memorial Playground. You are only allowed in if you have a child with you. It was really good. It had a pirate ship and a maze. They even had Indian Tee-pees. It was wonderful. We went back to our apartment and got our suitcases. We left and got on the trains. Our new Motor Home is a bit bigger than the last, but it is missing a couple of things that the last one had. Such as: .No ladders, it’s tricky getting on the bunk beds. .No awning, no shelter from the rain when your outside. .Not a good outside table. But then again, it does have some things that the other one didn’t have. ... read more

We woke up early in the morning (4:00) so we could catch our 7:00am flight. We were all really excited about going on a plane from Stuttgart to London. It’s been so long since we’ve been on a plane! When we finally got on the plane, I looked at the back of the seat in front of me and said “Hey, where’s the TV?!?” It was a short flight. When we finally got to our apartment, we were so tired. We went for a quick walk in Hyde Park, then went back. The next day, I went on the London Eye. The queue was massive, and the London Eye was really slow, but the view was definitely worth it. You can see everything! Unfortunately, on the same carriage as us, there were heaps of screaming kids. ... read more

We left Germany and travelled on to Austria. Our first stop is Salzburg. We didn’t exactly do much the day we arrived. The next day, it was Jacks birthday. We went for a huge walk round Salzburg. We were planning to go to a restaurant for lunch, but we were annoyed to find that it didn’t open till 3:00pm. When it finally opened, we decided to make it a lunch cross dinner. Linner or dunch? It was delicious! We sung happy birthday to Jack. A nearby table heard us and sung along. They were beautiful singers. A man even bought us two marshmallow ice creams and a chocolate umbrella. Yummy! At the end, we had a short play at a playground. Also in Salzburg, we were walking across a small bridge. We saw a little mouse. ... read more

Our first stop in Germany was Lake Constance. We camped there for one night, and than moved on to some friend's house, Silke and Michaels. They have 3 kids called Uwe, Heiko and Sven. We arrived there on the first day feeling tired from the big days travel, but the second day was a lot different. On the second day, I went to a German school. Luckily, the teachers spoke English, but the rest of the class didn’t. Some knew the basic “Hellos” and “Goodbyes” but they mostly spoke German. I had to read them a short story in English. I think the class understood most of it. The story was about a frog in winter, who wanted to play in the snow. But there was a game attached to it. There was a cut out ... read more
