Day 15 Getting prepared for Christmas and our trip home, Coral and I headed off to Walmart for the last time.....Yippee!! Don't get us wrong we love Walmart but there is only so many times you can go there and only so much you can spend.......lol Well 2 1/2 hours later we got back home.....lol Jackie, Alan, Samantha & Olivia were still in the pool. Day 13 After a quick dip in the ceremonial pool we headed off out to Blue Springs. It's about an hours drive east on the I-4. We went with Jenifer, Dennis, Paula, Savannah & Ellen and newly born Scarlett Olivia (Savannah's sister). It's a natural spring that flows warm water to the river, and because of this the Manatee like to come here in the colder months. The pictures speak for themselves. Day 10 We started out the day like many others by another swim/play in the pool :O). After a few hours in the pool and looking like prunes we went off to International Drive for a little recreational golf at Pirates Cove :O) Across the road from Pirates Cove, you can get proper birtday cake ice cream (Coral's Favourite) so it had to be done......lol Right next to it is Bargain World where we brought some real high class souveniers for friends back home :O) On the way back we stopped off at K-Mart to pick up our CHRISTMAS TREE :O). Day 9 Weather was supposed to be rainy all day today, however just like weathermen back home they got it wrong. So taking the opportunity while it was sunny we went in the pool ahhhhh 80 degrees for pure bliss. The only down part is getting out........Brrrrrrrrr but then jumping back into a hot shower ahhhhh Bliss again......lol Later we went over to Dennis and Jenifer's house for games and a spot of fishing on his jetty overlooking is pond/lake......lol Where I did manage to catch a fish. Day 7 Changing Management companies while we're out here, so met up with Nick & Kay for lunch at their house. They come highly recommended through a friend of ours back home. They took us around a home they currently manage and it's to the spec that we have in mind. Day 8 J,A,S & O went to Disney's Magic Kingdom and had a great time there :O) We decided not to go as it's not a park we wanted to do. Day 4 Went out on another shopping trip.....lol this time was for paint for the garage floor, Table Tennis table and 2 tv's for the bedrooms. Won't tell you how much it costs......but it hurt.....lol Finally managed to get in the pool for the first time.......ahhhhhhhh that's nice :O) we just chilled in the pool and soaked up the rays :O) Later we went out and played crazy golf. Well Jackie and Alan were due out today.......except there was a medical emergency and they didn't make it, they did however re-arrange the fligths for Monday. Our friends Jenifer and Dennis invited us both to Busch Gardens, so we went there and had a great day. Made better by the fantastic weather, A total contrast to yesterday. J & D's grandaughter came along (Savannah) and their friends Elaine & Dave too. Hi All, WE'RE BACK!!! DAY 1 The flight was good and we got here safe......no issues with customs and our 7 pieces of luggage..... :O) One box weighing in at 23.1kg of chocolates and biscuits......lol Well it was great to leave the wet and cold behind and not so great to arrive to wet and cold......we'd thought the pilot had done a u-turn at 40,000ft, the palm trees gave it away though....lol Anyway got back to the villa and 1st night is always Papa John Pizza night.....YAY!!! Day 17 Started off sunny this morning :O), so took full advantage of it and jumped in the pool :O), Lunch time we went out to Poinciana where we stopped for something to eat. The heavens opened in a big way, like when don't they lately.....lol The alarm went off in there, which we asked what that was for and they said tornado warning............WHAT!!, apparently Osceola had a small tornado which wasn't that far away. Day 14 Woke up and it actually wasn't raining and as the pool was nice and warm we decided to go in for a dip :O). 2hrs later, roughly around 10am it started to rain. So for a change we decided to decorate......lol there was only the Master bedroom and en-suite to finish.... so at least we could see a light at the end of tunnel.
