Drive carefully!! A big,big thankyou to the Stan and Myra Jenson for taking Hayley into their home and looking after her so well. We are so grateful for their kindness and to all their family who have welcomed her and made her feel part of the family. Hayley speaks so fondly of all the Jensons and I think if it hadnt been for all their kindness she would have been on the first plane home!!
Drive carefully Hayley and Paul and enjoy your travelling. Dont tell me when the sky diving event takes place just let me know when its all over and your safe on the ground.xxxx

If you like ww rafting then try Tully River Haley,
If you enjoyed the ww rafting in Thailand, then try a day out on the Tully River. Beautiful surrounds, warm water, and a few fresh-water crocs add a different dimension to some exciting, grade-3 rapids!
Remembering our whte river water rafting Hi Hayley - we have been following your blog and are so jealous of the fab time you are having. I hope your job is going well and you are making some new friends, dont like to think of you lonely out there. Seeing the pictures of you rafting reminds me of us in the Dom Rep - what a great time we had!!! Keep posting lots of messages and we will keep reading - lots of love vik, mark and phoebe (and our new puppy Max!!) xxx
Hello my darling, hope your having fun Just to say a quick hello from both of us in Dorset. The weather here at the moment is being kind, just got back from Cornwall and had a lovely time. Weather was perfect. Stayed one night in Jamacia Inn the haunted pub on Bodmin Moor, nothing went bump in the night we had plenty of plonk before going to bed!!!!!! Then onto Port Issac and Boscastle. Anyway you look like your having a great time, won't be long until you are joined by your friend!!!!!!!
Carry on enjoying yourself and look after yourself and we both look forward to seeing you in the New Year. xxxxxxx
G'day Mate! Well hello Miss. Balchin, how the devil are you? Sounds like you're having a great time and hope you are settled in Cairns now. I'm sure if you're staying in a hostel you'll meet people all the time and well done for scoring free accommodation!
I had a great summer with my 2 weeks in Spain, weekend in Dublin, weekend in Paris and pooping myself about starting school in between!!
Weds was INSET and kids were in Thurs and Fri. So far so good although I was shattered by Fri afternoon and I feel like my brain is overloaded! Proper teaching starts Mon so hoping once we're in a routine all the things I'm still not quite sure about will all fall into place!
Anyways, hope you're well my dear and enjoying yourself.
Miss. Briffa xxxxx
Cairns/avoid the sea Althought you might see Bananas on the trees avoid the salt water because of the giant crocks........I am in Sydney next week only 3 hours away by plane.....Trust you and Paul had a great time in Thailand....
Hello from Taran Hello Miss Balchin. It is really nice to hear from you. I am pleased to hear that it's all worked out well for you after all. I am haveing good time off. I went to Science Musium in London. It was a really good day out with my Daddy. It is a sunny day here today, so far so good. Not long to go until i return to school. Take care and hope to hear from you soon. Big hugs Taran by the way i hope you did get the job.xxxxx
Hope you are Ok Hi Hayley,
Just catching up with your travels as we have just got back from France after our holiday. It was really relaxing and very hot so we care all looking tanned now.
I am pleased that you have decided to stay with the Jensen family for now. I am sure that they will be loking after you very well. I really admire your determination to enjoy your trip and I am sure that your personality will shine through and you will make some good friends in Oz. I will be really interested to hear how the teaching goes- I can imagine that it will be totally different to CC. The teachers that I have worked with from Australia have always been very creative and quite laid back as regards planning etc.
I am getting the keys to my new school tomorrow so I will be putting all my own things into my office. I am getting rather nervous now as the time draws near.
Keep positive and I am sure that you will be fine- thinking of you Love Jane x
amazing jump Paul Wow what a brilliant thing to have done Paul, almost as amazing as running the London Marathon!! Hope you had a good birthday- I am surprised that Hayley didn't have a go at the bungee!! Hope you are OK,often think about you, Love Jane
your adventure Good to read of your 'doings' Hayley. Stick with it and ENJOY all you can. You are always up for a challenge,
So positive thinking!
Glad you are with the family, they sound great.
love Margaret W
Pick up in Cairns Confirmed I just spoke to Dad, Halyey. He and Mum will be at the airport on Monday to pick you up. He said that he tried to send you his mobile number because there is a lot of building chaos going on at the airport, and because you don't know if you arrive at the international or domestic terminal. Hopefully you got it. If not, you can email us using the address we gave you. I showed Kaitlyn and Matthew the blog. They loved the video of Paul bungy jumping. Told them to keep quiet about Paul when speaking to school friends - they recognised him immediately. They are also excited that you'll soon be where "Grandma and Grandad live". Enjoy your holiday. Kevin and Cath.
You Guys look like you are having an amazing time. I have only just discovered your blog so have enjoyed having a good old catch up and some laughs. That naughty Nelly
and your '1st class cabin' amusing me in particular. Well done Paul for throwing yourself off a platform in a developing country without health and safety rules - nut case!
Keeping enjoying yourselves love birds x x
