Travel.. Hey guys, Jerry here. Sounds like you folks have decided to put some temporary roots down for a bit. Good for you guys, hope it all works out for you.
As far as me, still doing the KBR thing in Baghdad at LOGCAP HQ but as of this moment I'm back in Samui sitting at a bungalow watching the crazy cloud formations which seem to develop out of nowhere..lol I'm taking my annual mental health break and testing the limits of my liver.. :) That and getting some much needed dental work done. Starting my 7th year on the project, where does the time go huh??
Stay safe, keep in touch..Jerry
Welcome Home! So good to have you back! Your adventures were and still will be wonderful reading. With such strong skills volunteering will be rewarding personally and to society.
The family is fine. Dale and Leanna presented us with a brand new great grandson!
Best wishes and love to you both,
Keith and Anne
Tree Roots Yea, basically seeds end up on top of the temple structure and start to grow. Then over the years the roots keep growing and searching for water (and soil, I guess) with the end result being this.
Place looks awesome, really cool wished i was there, glad you all having fun, man this place is cool. does the trees really grow into the ground like that with the roots showing?
Hey guys.. Looks like you are having the time of your lives..lol Are you coming back to the project or have you chucked it for good?? Kathy, I noticed you are not in global anymore...lol
Take care and keep in touch, Jerry
Hi Again We emailed you a while ago and just found your blog again. Enjoy Siem Reap and the great sites there. We were there in Dec. 08.
We're planning on returning to SE Asia in the fall again for quite a while. Always fun to find other perpetual travellers. Our friends Mike and Bonnie were here in Feb and are now back in Buenos Aires.
Have fun...
fun! I love the tailoring - and that little girl you bought the whistles from reminds me of a little girl who stole our family's heart. She is now a teen and my mom still visits her even though she lives in Arizona now. Great blog- bummer about the crawl space. I would hate that too. I need to ride my bike more - but that would be hard on the highway commute. Weather is sunny and 75 in Chico, CA . Miss you guys :) I think we will be getting a 5th wheel next and start touring the US!
Really enjoyed your blog on Thailand - t gave us lots of good info as going there tomorrow from Cambodia, thanks. Cambodia fab check out our blog on workshyandshameless for any info you need on Cambodia. Happy travels

Two Americans who claim Oregon as home, yet find ourselves living mostly in other countries. We love to travel and are on a quest to see the world! We started out by selling everything we owned and hitting the open road in an RV. That was back in the summer of 2003 and we never looked back; and yes, we are still going and going and going... Life should be an adventure, and each day a new journey! If you want to be notified each time we update our blog you can click on SUBSCRIBE.
