Mexico's great! Hey Kathy and Mike,
Welcome back to the USA! Mexico is a great choice. Joe and I have spent the last 3 years in Mexico for all of Jan-March. We've driven, taken our kayaks, bicycles and tent trailer. We mix it up by camping, staying in hotels and renting houses. Last year we even drove into Guatamela and went to Spanish school We've been to Spanish schools all over Mexico. In fact, I'll be going to San Miguel de Allende (a highland colonial town in Mexico south of Mexico City) all of July to go to the Warren Hardy Spahish school and live with a Mexican family. Check it out online at warrenhardy.com. It looks like San Luis Potosi and SM de Allende are not too far away from eachother. When you get situated, shoot me an email and maybe we can rendezvous! If you're coming through Chico on your way south, stop by and spend the night. We can give you lots of info about Mexico. Happy travels!
XOXO, Kathy and Joe
Welcome Back! Have a safe journey home. Call me when you get back to Southern Oregon. Oh! Bye the Bye, Would you guys adopt me when you get to Mexico?
MaryAnn
Glad you are moving on! I'd say welcome home, but I think we all know that the world is your home and you journey's will only continue from here! I'm glad you decided Iraq isn't for you anymore so you can continue exploring. :-)
Great trip Hey guys! Sounds like you had a great trip! Too bad I couldn't make it up that way to see you. I look forward to the next time you get out this way, so you can see my lovely house and new baby boy.
Sounds wonderful! Hey guys! It sounds like you are having a great time! I'm so jealous... all I am doing nowadays is going to work and trying to not be too sick from morning sickness! HAHA If I was not into having a family right now, I too, would travel the world. I always keep your entries so when I do go places, I can refer back to your travel recommendations. :-) I love your journals; I always look forward to reading them.
The descent will cure your caving bug Hi,
You two are just all over the place. I envy your travels! I saw the movie
The Descent. Scary and gorey and will cure anyone's desire to go deep
into a cave. Yvonne and I are great. Thinking of moving...more details
will come when I know more...xoxo

Two Americans who claim Oregon as home, yet find ourselves living mostly in other countries. We love to travel and are on a quest to see the world! We started out by selling everything we owned and hitting the open road in an RV. That was back in the summer of 2003 and we never looked back; and yes, we are still going and going and going... Life should be an adventure, and each day a new journey! If you want to be notified each time we update our blog you can click on SUBSCRIBE.
