Despite the cold, my month-long stay in Paris was very pleasant. I enjoyed seeing everyone, and, after being away for a year, it felt extremely good to be back in my own apartment, which really felt like "home". My place is rented until the end of May, and Aurelia and Sebastien's baby is due in July, so I plan to return to France at the end of May. In the meantime, I arrived back in Berkeley late on Saturday, January 23rd, and am already very busy. This term, I'm taking 3 classes at the Osher Institute of Life-long Learning (OLLI). They are Memoir Writing, Website Design, and a literature course on French "courtesans".
