encouragement hilary, thank you for sharing all of the wonderful things you involve yourself in ... amazing! you do more in a month than i do in a year!
Glad You're Back Bonjour, Hilary,
Like you, I savor being back in the States and can relate to your blog article. It's been many years now for me and yet, I still enjoy the feeling of having come back from ("only") 12 years in France in my case. It was a pleasure to watch you work through your decision to stay stateside as we hiked and enjoyed Glacier NP this past August. Might the splendid mountains, streams and big sky have helped tip the balance? Life's a journey, for sure, and you exemplify that, figuratively and literally, Hilary. Keep it up and keep us in the loop wherever it lands.
Bisous,
Lana
Have so much enjoyed reading your travel blogs and looking at all the carefully assembled photographs of your interesting travels through a part of the globe with which I am not familiar. Thank you for sharing them.
I should try VISITING the Bay Area So neat to read all you've been doing. I've lived in Berkeley and Oakland for 33 years and I missed the Avedon show, haven't been to Stinson since last summer, have memberships in six museums and never go, etc. etc. I see more of Paris than of San Francisco, so my New Year's resolution is going to involve acting more like a visitor. You are an inspiration-- AND it was so nice to see you and your cozy North Berkeley apartment.
