Lindsey No, No, Linz, you cannot be graduating from H.S. You're just a little girl. How quickly our children grow up. Congrats Linz. A gift will come in a few days. We hope you are feeling better today. God bless the George Jensen family and their labors for the Cause. Heaven will surely be worth it all. Your family is one of a kind. III John 2. Brotherly, Windell and the Fikes family.
Congratulations Lindsey! Your graduation pictures are beautiful. Your inner light truly shines! My girls still remember the few times our family spent together because of the impression you and your sister made. Your influence is far reaching! Sorry to hear you were so ill. Glad to hear you are on the mend.
Jan

Praise God! It is wonderful to see the fruits of your labor so visible and tangible. May God bless each of these men and their families. The really tough work begins now - studying was easy! Thanks, George, Joy and all of the instructors and their families for the sacrifices made to serve our precious Lord and Savior. Love, Cheryl
Prayers and thoughts Hello Jensens,
Thank you for your updates, and I am so thankful to the dear Lord that Jacob is doing much better. And, yes, George, reading your description in this travelblog makes me appreciate the comforts of America. I hope we never take them for granted. God bless your work and your health.
Love, Uncle Robert
Thankful Thank you for the encouraging words, George. Your family is a blessing to all you know. We enjoyed seeing Julia last week and are thankful for her safe return to you all. We're also thankful Jacob is better. Love to you all, and looking forward to seeing you again!
Hello Hello George! Glad Jacob is getting better. Thanks for the words. We definitely take too many things for granted at times. I try to remind myself to be thankful for what we have. It was good to see Julia last week. Missed the rest of the family! Take care and God bless your family.
Steve
Thankful We are so thankful that Jacob is doing better. We fuss about so many little things sometimes and forget the most important--being together with other Christians for the mutual edification gained by so doing. Thank you for the reminder! Love to you all~
Voice from your past Hello George and Joy,
What a surprise when I typed in "Where the Saints meet". I saw the name Jensen and thought I wonder if this is the Jensens I remember? Clarence and I went to preaching school with you and we were neighbors. How wonderful to hear of the work God is doing through you and your family. We are in a domestic mission field in New England. South County RI. God Bless. Love in Him, Pam
MMM MMM Good Of all the blogs you've sent so far I believe this one is by far the one that choked me up the most.
I will be looking at those corn "dogs" at the county fair in a little different light.
Mice on a stick Hi Joy,
Enjoyed reading this story. Time permitting, I think I will read it to the ladies at our first Ladies Bible Class this next Wednesday, before our Potluck Luncheon :)
Love to all...
Donna
I'm all about those pork chops on a stick, but I agree that a mouse may be a bit much!!
Maybe I should tell Andrew though, that it's wasteful when we have a mouse in the house, to kill it then throw it away. We could be feeding our family a rare treat! :D
I'm glad your trip has gone well and know your family is very happy to have the two of you back with them. Love you all!
foraging Hello to all the Jensens!
Thank you for the insightful blog to keep us "plugged in" to all your experiences. When I got over my disbelief, I could see the mice-on-a-stick as a means of survival for these indigenous people. "Unless you believe, you will not understand."
- St. Augustine, 354 AD - 430 AD. We love to forage too, but dandelion and plantain are about as far as it goes! Paul just returned from a mission trip to the Marshall Islands. The natives fed him fresh coconut, red snapper and noni fruit. Maybe not what he would have eaten here at home, but he didn't go hungry. I trust God it caring for you through all your new experiences as well as trials, even if you can not always distinguish one from the other.
Blessings Always,
Amy Hester
teaching the young George,
You and Joy are to be highly commended for the determined effort to teach Julia, Jacob, Luke and Lindsey the Word by your instruction the example of taking them on mission trips. May God bless them to continue to love the Word of Righteousness and teach it. We love and appreciate all 6 of the Jensens. Brotherly, Windell
The concept of teaching and bringing those "thirsty for righteousness" in without "gimmicks" is refreshing to hear. You are sowing the Word in much fertile soil. God bless the Jensens and those other brothers and sisters with a harvest of many souls to the kingdom. III John 2.
The Fikes family

Great News We are thankful for you and Jacab's effort. This seems to be a very cost effective way to teach African Christians. Thanks for all you and your family bring to the TZ 2000 effort.
Our family has participated in numerous mission efforts over the last 20 years. In 2005, we had the great privilege of traveling together as a family to India, where we worked for one month. We began contemplating the idea of doing foreign mission work. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa. During this trip, we observed the great need for more teachers and preachers in Africa. After much prayerful consideration, we made the commitment to move to Tanzania, Africa and work with a mission effort known as Tanzania 2000.
Our family arrived in Mos... full info
