Holy cow, this looks really familiar!
I was searching for Antarctica photos on the web and found your trip, and this photo looked awfully familiar. Your photo is taken (I think?) March 13th, 2009 - mine are taken the day before. I was on a 12-person sailboat - we hung out at Pleneau Island for about 3 days observing penguins, leopard seals, and icebergs. It's a small world!

big thanks for all your picts and stories over the world. funny to imagine that I start my one-year-trip when you end yours ! thanks for helping me to take the decision in the jungle in sumatra laughing in front of a cold beer under this udge rain. For prices just do a google search for 'MV Ushuaia' I did and got the following, altho I didn't book thro them. http://www.alvoyages.com/ships/mv-ushuaia/118/itineraries.html Also a big factor is your country's exchange rate with USD when you book it as it makes a difference with these sort of figures. Hope this helps!

Slowly catching up...
I'm slowly wading my way through these tomes Gar. Won't do them in a hurry - it's only taken me 3 months to find time to read the last two. I'll see if I can squeeze in a few more this afternoon because I do enjoy them, even if they do make me green. The sunsets around French Polynesia are amazing (and I'ma sucker for a nice sunset), but I guess not good enough to justify top 50 places, eh...? Maybe by the time to get back to Blighty I'll have caught up. Then again that's only a few weeks away. Hmmmm... x

Missing O's
hey gareth, just wanted to let you know that you left an 'o' out of one of the words in your blog. I cant remember what the word was but it was fairly obvious and i think everyone reading it would have copped. it wasnt a silent o or anything, the o sound was fairly needed in the word .. anyway I hpe yur nt embarrassed and knw yu didnt mean it, but please try nt t be s incnsistent in future k? not very nice when someone leaves out their o's is it? ooo theres a few of the buggers to stick in ur words but dont become an 'O' slut tho cause that could just end up as bad spelling and nobody bad spelling! :)

Super Muff.... I am left feeling like a broken man.. Week after week he keeps coming up with the goods. There is clearly lack of comedy shots on the 06.00 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington route... that is my excuse and i'm sticking to it !! Keep up the good work son !
