The man is on form... Ginge.... Just like Liverpool's form of late you have just had a stormer. Cracking read and some amazing picks. Brings me back to my days in NZ - the Cinema in Wanaka is just quality. Definatley missed out on some pun jokes of Wanaka though ?!?!
Not sure what is happening on the picture front - I am taking a pasting. That one of you leaning is awesome.
Anyways - keep the updates coming, always good to escape the corporate world if only for a few minutes.
Peace out.

Great Photos Your photos suggest that your trip is very much a success! It must have been amazing to spend Christmas there, very different form the usual, and definately memorable i can imagine. I hope that the rest of your trip goes well.
Just checking out your blog young Gareth...its great reading. Liked the part where you got away from us in Mission Beach but we caught you in Brisse-hurraaay :)
Wow! I wish I were where you are... green with envy that I am in a cold cold country and cannot spend my days with doing what everI fancy!! It seems to be doing you good too -you look about 10 years younger already!
Poor little fly family Gareth! I was just looking at your pics and think that it is wonderful that someone managed to have a camera to take a picture at the exact time that a fly flew into your mouth! Your face doesn't look too disgusted in it tho? Did you see something amazing at the exact same time? Did you eat the fly? Did you enjoy it? He probably had a wife and kids ... orphans now .... well except for their mom of course ...
Down Underwhelmed Ginge mate, I didn't realise you were doing a blog... you really should send me some form of e-mail, text, MMS or facebook updates about it and your trip... oh......... right.... you have. Lots.
Anyway, looks like you're having fun in-between writing extended essays. FYI - There's no apostrophe in "Ayers Rock". Presume you know you stuffed it against the Toffees last night. Twas funny.
You knows Hungry jack's is the way forward.
Byeeeeeeeee
Laughed out loud at the fly eating pic :-) Thats ur punishment for taking such a silly photo!! Tho you def kick Lee-Roy's a*se with the crocodile one!!
Nice to have the blogs back (though thats blatantly because I dont have enough work to do!).
I'll keep you up to date with SL.
Speak soon xx
Bailey bites back ! JJ - Great pics me old son. You are taking me to the cleaners on the cheese front ! I'm off to Amsterdam for the weekend in a fortnights time... let battle commence !
Take it easy mate.
Ronald the surfer dude? Never imagined Ronald McDonald to be into surfing. There's no shame in eating back to back Big Mac's mate. (I think I've done a whole week before!). Cool pics as ever, I like the underwater diving shots. I was half expecting you to have grown a beard by now (any chance?)
V is for - Vertical Bacon Sandwich Dude - this was by far the best one yet... had me in stitches all the way through.. Missing Link comments were genius !
Aww dude, looks wicked. Still giggling at the Bananaman reference - its the simple ones that are the best! I hope you drew them a picture of a Snat?!?? Keep them coming. Speak soon :-) xx
Bridges Hi Gaz Thanks for the txt's, just back from States and catching up with work email's and your blogs.... the blogs are more interesting.
The Bridges are becoming a theme.. i think your getting hooked!!!
keep walking themand taking photo's.....
Keep up the blogs
Oh my god that is just horrible don't know how you did it it has made me tearful just reading about it.
But hey guess we need to know about these things to try and prevent things like this happening in the future.
As ever, it looks amazing. Divings the best. Though am very disappointed you didn't see any sharks. Not cos I would want you to get eaten. Just cos we were promised sharks when we dove in Egypt and there wasn't any and I was trying to live my dream through you. Never mind!!
Hope ur sideburns are coming along well :-)
Speak soon xx
When in Rome... Gareth I'm starting to think you ARE in Rome... but I know they don't have as many turtles, Famous yellow and white fish, and Brummie diving instructors. Sounds like you really enjoyed the underwater experience, despite your apprehension and I dare say a few of your group had a laugh at your expense (and no doubt vice versa!). But to more serious matters, have you been affected by the protests in Bangkok/Thailand. Hope it hasn't been affecting your holiday. It's cold here and I've lost my voice so can't work. I tried yesterday and it was comical, then when the sore throat woke me up I thought enough's enough. My plan is to hole myself up and not to speak for three days - some challenge. I guess that's the price you pay for working in a hospital. All's good otherwise. Look forward to hearing about the Full Moon Party. x
Ronnie Reply Cheers all for your comments........you'll be pleased to know that some of the next ones are a bit shorter...reevesie good to know that your time at home doing sweet fa has been put to good use. re tips, if i remember correctly that you are planning bkk, thai islands and sing you don't really need to plan too much as you can get most stuff in those places (you may need to stock up on your mail order miniature johnnies tho). For peace of mind you may want to get some medical stuff (ie rehydration salts any anti bs if you are susceptible to anything in partic) as over here they dish out any all kinds of stuff. my mate had an upset stomach and they 'prescribed' him valium. that was laos tho. think you may also be going to borneo, if you are doing trekking (unlikely) should get mozzie repellant and lucie should get ear plugs.. malaria pills - i went for doxycylin (think was my only option) and yeah they could cause stomach upsets that's why I er stopped taking them. main tip i would say is don't pack too many clothes (nor pink). you can get better t shirts out here (esp you). also, take float of USD (gd condition and 2003 onwards) for emergencies. drop me a line if you need more info.
