The Monsoons have arrived!!! - From: Winter has arrived..............
Never mind 0 degrees. According to the forecast on teletext it was going to be well below freezing for the next few days. Even as low as -8 and those are the readings for Hobart. We remember that it is always 5 degrees colder in Fern Tree. To compensate you can light the wood burning stove which we can see you have done looking at the picture of the house. It just continues to rain in the UK. I will have a bet that there will be more rain this June since records began. Once again it was great to read your blogg. Smashing photos Enjoy the sunshine!

Lucky you - From: The holidays are here!!!!
The worst fog we have known for years in England. Very cold and damp with it. Started on Sunday and still with us today (Thursday)! At least we don't have to go to work. Stayingwith Ingrid and Mark. Returning to York at lunchtime. Just had a call from our neighbour saying how bad the weather is in York; offered to collect us from the station; we came on the train. Heathrow is virtually closed. Mark and Ingrid having to travel to Gatwick tomorrow. All good fun!!!Make the most of your belated summer holidays

It has been lovely looking through what you have been up to! We went camping to Robin Hood's Bay last weekend and yes there is a 'heat wave' if you don't live in Scarborough! We just have muggy nights and sea fret days so no sun!!!!! Must try and work hard and come to see you you if you could stand us all for three weeks!!! It sounds like just my type of place! Love to you both. Dawn Woollons (Jon and Lily too!)
