Oh my god, I have had like the worst luck in the last week. It's just been one thing after another, first I go out and get absolutely smashed, lose $70. Okay so thats partially self inflicted but then last friday my boss says, "sorry ash we are gonna have to let you go mate, we just can't afford to keep you on anymore." Then I am singing and dancing in the shower on saturday and I fall cutting my foot on the serated metal surrounding the bath tap, three stitches later and I am not happy. So I have been in Sydney for a little while now, I have got myself a flat with some Korean people, Thai people and a woman from Sweden! It's a nice little appartment on Sussex Street right next to Darling Harbour! I have myself a 9-5 job at Ducati Motorcycles as a general dogs body but it's fun and gets me some cash. I have done all the touristy things, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are amazing!! Met some really cool people including Alex, a genuine English guy with a lot to offer the world. Graham, who is cool as f**k and his Aussie girlfriend Alison is really sweet, they let me go over there flat and watch DVD's all the time while cooking roasts. The full moon party had to be the craziest party I have ever taken part in, it's just immense. All the guys came together and we all met for a big old knees up. You get a bucket a bottle of Samsung (local Thai whisky) some coke and lots of red bull which is illegal in other parts of the world due to the high levels of anthetamine! It's one big messy piss up on the beach and everyone is just loving it! We found it pretty hard to get accomodation as it's so full at these times but we found a nice little room and all is good. So I'm in Hong Kong now, this is a great and extremely large city with lots of businesses but thats really about it. Been here for just under a week now and I feel I have done all there is to be done. Been to main Hong Kong island and been up Victoria's peak, some pretty impressive views from that height. Been to Wang Chai to the markets and all that stuff. Been to Jackie Chan's gym. Done the whole harbour cruise thing witrh the light and sound show, pretty awesome and seen most of Kowloons shops. It's a great place but I became bored and so ventured into New Territories and paid 420HKD to get across the border into China.
