Around the World

a trip by Everette Studdard

Walt and I will be leaving on September 14th on a wonderful trip. The trip is open ended so we don't know when we will return home. We are starting in St. Petersburg, Russia where we will stay for a few days before taking the train to Moscow. We will be traveling throughout Russia on the TransSiberian RR. We are looking forward to getting off of the train and staying in towns along the route. Eventually, we will continue our journey through Mongolia to China. After staying in Beijing for a few days, we will travel to Tibet. We will fly to Singapore and try to get in a little R & R. We visited Singapore in 2006 and enjoyed the city. From there, we will travel by train to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After a few days in KL, we will go back to Singapore. If things go as planned, we will fly to Tokyo, Japan next. That will end our visits in Europe and Asia. If we get lucky, we might be able to stop off for a few days in Alaska on the way home.
