So I've been home for a few days now and figured I should probably write a conclusion to my 2 1/2 month trek through Europe before I forget the details of my last few stops. So, next up was Munich. I had kept in touch with a guy I'd meant in Ireland and found out we happened to be in Munich at the same time, so we neant up our first night there and went on a beer tasting tour of the city. So we did a real whirlwind trip of Switerland. We arrived in Interlaken in the evening and I immediately decided I loved Switzerland. There are cute little Swiss chalets everywhere, just like I'd imagined. And it's such an outdoorsy, active place. There are so many things to do during the day...sky diving, canyoning, rafting, mountain biking...which is why so many people go there. Unfortunately we had very little money to enjoy these activities, so we spent our day doing the only free thing offered... hiking through the Alps. Amazing. So, our time in Italy has unfortunatey come to an end. We left Cinque Terra last week and headed to Florence. We just happened to have to switch trains in Pisa so we decided to hop off for a couple hour to check out the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Very impressive...it's REALLY leaning! A shocking amount as you can see from the pics. We eventually made it to Florence and spent the afternoon roaming the city. So, finally some free time to send an update! So we ended our time in Spain with one more day in San Sebastian doing some hiking around the city, and then 2 days in Barcelona. We took our first night train from San Sebastian to Barcelona and I must say, it was surprisingly the best night's sleep we'd had in a long time. We were expecting to be sleeping in uncomfortable train chairs but lucky us we got actual beds. A luzury we hadn't had in almost a week because we'd been camping. So Barcelona was awesome. So, I finally have a bit of free time to send an update! After spending a couple uneventful days in Dublin I flew to Glasgow to meet up with Leigh Ann. Her flight was delayed for a day due to the terrosist attack on the Glagow airport (crazy being in Glasgow during that time by the way) but she eventually arrived and we went straight to Edinburgh. We saw the castle, went on a night ghost tour of the city and hiked Arthur´s Seat, a pretty popular hike up a huge mountain right in downtown Edinburgh. We then flew to [View Full Entry]

Okay, so I'm pretty annoyed right now. I just wrote this entire entry and it didn't save so now I have to rewrite it. Ugh! Hopefully I can remember everything... So...I'm back in Dublin now for the 4th time. This place is starting to feel like my home away from home. But really it's nice to be able to come back to a familiar place once in a while. So I have finally found some sun! yay! I spent Saturday night in Dublin and meant up with the tour group I hung out with in Galway since their tour ended that night in Dublin. We went out to the Temple Bar, which is apparently THE bar to go to in Ireland. It was insanely packed but fun none the less. So I'm still kicking around Ireland, at least for a few more days. On Tuesday I headed to Galway for what I had hoped would be a quiet evening in a little coastal town. But when I checked into my hostel it just happened that Janna and Amanda (2 girls from the Pubcrawl in Dublin) were staying there with their tour group. So my time in Scotland is over unfortunately. Overall it was a great time, and a beautiful country. I spent Friday night in Edinburgh and then got up bright and early to catch the bus back to Glasgow. I didn't really feel like spending my last day in Scotland in the city, but I also had no idea where a good day trip would be.
