cheers I took half of one while in NZ, and though I checked the contents then I couldn't remember for the life of me now what was in them. Your blog jolted my memory, cheers!

Clarification: Possum Bounty Actually, I'll have to modify my previous point about a possum bounty. There are a bunch of trappers who make extra money by killing possums and then selling their skins. Apparently they make really nice mittens, gloves, hats... There is another group of people from the Department of Conservation that set up traps to catch possums. They kill them too.
Possums were introduced to New Zealand to establish a fur trade. However, they have no natural predators, breed like rabbits, and apparently destroy all the natural vegetation, eat kiwi bird eggs, and generally become huge pests. So, New Zealand is trying to rid the island of possums. (Which I understand is a next to impossible mission.)
There used to be a bounty on possum skins, however, they found that it offered no incentive for trappers to fully clear an area of possums. Actually, it encouraged them to leave some to breed, so they could catch more possums! So, the task of possum elimination fell to the DOC.
That's all I know about possums. Oh, and they look similar to giant rats.
wow Well Erin, I must say, that is a very attractive prisoner suit if i do say so myself, BAHAHHAAHAHAHHAA. Please bring that back to Canada so you can wear it to all your cool McGill parties. Luv, Jackie
Good story! Hee Erin, how are you? I am sitting in a library in Dunedin as you recommended me, unfortunately it's only for research (not mailing..)..!Dispite this I can go to this site! And I think I will refer everyone at home to this link!! Great! I am oke. Dunedin is a nice place, reminds me a little (little..little...) bit of my hometown (Amsterdam). A Candian girl, Liz, picked me up in 5 minutes and drove the whole way to Dunedin. I am alsoo invited to come to her place wednesday. Such a nice people...Canadian people! Hihi! Did you like Queenstown? What are your next moves? Thursday, I am going to Aomaru. I didn't buy the busticket from the German girls...they wanted to have 200 dollars for it! My camera still doesn't work. I thought maybe the fresh chocolate air from Dunedin would 'cure' him... Enjoy your last free weeks!!! We'll keep in touch! Greetz!x Laura

as if Oh my goodness, Erin, your blogs crack me up. You should be a comedic writer. First of all, bravo, for turning down the wrong side of the road. Only you could pull that one off and not get killed in the process. But then it looks like your luck continues seeing as how you found a huge chunk of money on the ground.
Oh and decent car, not bad for $1500. Although personally, I think Gonzo would have been a better name, as previously mentioned in your blog. I'd think a car named Gonzo would treat you right. Have an awesome time and keep up these blogs so I can live vicariously through you. Love ya
