Mmmm...sconesMmmm...sconesMmmm...scones

Delicious pieces of sweet, heavy muffing/bread. Not exactly healthy, but very cheap and filling.
After last's night beer, wine, chocolate, and jazz, I needed a chill day. (I know, my life is pretty rough!).

So, when Martin said he was going to visit an old cathedral, where the university music students were putting on a free classical concert, I thought I could do the architecture thing, while enjoying some music! And, it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. I'm definately more of a jazz lover then a Romantic or Baroque fan. However, the last piece was by someone named Rachmaninov, and it was stunning. All the other stuff sounded so painless and pretty. Rachmaninov was just chaotic and intense. I don't know much about classical music, but I loved him. (Taylor, you'll have to tell me more about him when I'm back in Montreal, expand my classical music knowledge!)

After church music, I wanted to do my favorite city activity before heading to the farm: people watching!! We got coffee and watched all the people walk by, making up various exciting scenarios for their lives. We gave them the most exciting encounters we could dream up, but I'm sure their realities would surprise us even more, as if often

Favorite activity: people watching at cafes (with scones)...and good company!
the case with people!

Then, sadly, Martin and I had to part ways. Him heading north, and me south. Such is it will most of the people in our lives. You can have some of my luck Martin (although I'm sure you don't need it)!

I'll be excommunicato for a while, as I'll probably won't have internet access, but I'll update as soon as I'm back in a city.

Wish me luck working on the farm!

xoxo
