Loved the blog. My husband get massage in each country as we travel around the world. In Thailand we had a couple of 4 hour massages. Amazing. Keep those treatments coming.

I really regret reading this blog, now I am wanting so much of a good massage. Coming from the Philippines and knowing how cheap I can get a massage back home, I never had a massage here in Japan. Enjoy your massage addiction !!!

''How were you treated differently in Beijing than Hangzhou? ''
What you(Pete) experienced is truely awful! It is frightening how much damage just a little propaganda can do. One would expect better of people, but I suppose one unfortunately can\'t. I am pretty relieved that it is last August I was in China, rather than this comming August. People were amazingly friendly towards me as a foreigner, when I was there last year.

"Student: Yes.The country Frence,I very like it My response: You are spelling it wrong, it is the country of France and they speak the French language. Not Frence! " too bad, she must felt very bad and embarrassing, and lost all interest about Frence.

I like the statute with the boobies and pretty much drooled when I read your spa sessions. Sounds amazing.. Why do U think foreigners like to take photos with americans? I just had some folks from India the other day ask me to randomly take a photo with them. It's totally flattering bu reall funny. U may be on their wall I'n their living room or something!

Interestingly, I just went to a conference on China here at the University of Denver and one paper was given by an American who teaches at Zhe Da. Around 40, very tall, named Gregory Moore (got his card). First lao wei hired there (think there are two others now); married to a Chinese. Bet it was the same guy who emceed at labor Day event. \"You get what you pay for....... \" exactly! here in the US, my son (3 years old) went to the ER, waited for 3 hours, the doctor finally came, took 2 minutes and sent us home. then the bill came in, 550$ (we pay 50$, the rest went to METLIFE). and if you get a Appendicitis Surgery, the cost will be around $16K or more. (in China, Appendicitis Surgery will cost you 200 to 400$) In China, there is a term called \"以药养医\", that means the hospital need to sell more medicine to cover the cost (because seeing a doctor and get a small treatment basically cost nothing). that\'s why you see so many IV in chinese hospitals. a lot of time you really don\'t need a IV (Tylenol will do the work), but the doctor will insist you to get an IV, that\'s how the hospitals and doctors make money. in many places a doctor will get a percentage of the Prescription he give his patients.
