Hello, I am a Korean woman and it was good to discover a blog of Seoul. I don't want to mention much on others' personal opinion and I just like to say that king Sejong is the 4th king of Joseon and he invented Korean alphabet "Han-geul". And I think it would 've been better if you had strolled under the bright sunny daylight ,and enjoyed Korea's autumn, the beauty of beyond description. Good luck for your days!

Hi Derek, nice blog, I visited Bled in 2008 and it seems to have become even more expensive...But I got quite addicted to the Kremšnita, which you refer to as Bled cake. So yummy! Slovenia is a very underrated destination in my opinion. Cheers, Jens

Hi, I dont think I'll ever go to Iceland- much much too expensive for me. I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed reading what you did and where you went and the beautiful photos you have posted. It makes me feel that I was there too. Sad that you didn't catch the Northern Light up close and personal. I did on Discovery Channel! It was beautiful. You like to walk and see beautiful scenery, take a trip to China-Jiuzhaigou Valley, reputed as a "fairyland", is located in Jiuzhaigou County of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang. Hi, Most of you will have been directed here by me - if so, thanks for coming. If not, thanks for coming anyway. I am Derek - a Kiwi who in June 2007, set off on a 4 1/2 month sortie around Europe via the USA, and set up this blog so that friends, family and randoms could keep track of where I had been to, and of the shenanigans I inevitably got up to.
