I'm exhausted Hi Fiona,
I get exhausted just following your adventures. You pack more in a few days than I could accomplish in a month. The photos in New Zealand and especially good - did you change anything? It's great to have the Apple up and running. We are having a sunny, cold and somewhat white Christmas here in Vancouver.
Good luck in South America - the map on your website which shows where you have been is impressive.
Love,
Ian
'Sure beats our snow! Hello Fiona,

Next on my list... Hey there you traveling girl!!! Well, after reading of your Laotian adventure, I have to say I'm absolutely itching to go....Your pictures and descriptions are absolutely breathtaking and i just loved the idea of a virtually non-tourist destination....I want to go and pedal around on a bike and do sightseeing like you did--that just sounds like the ultimately simple, but fascinating way to see the countryside....Life's good in Korea....I'm loving my new job as a professor!! I lost your email address, or else I would've written sooner!! Good luck and can't wait to hear your about your next adventure....PS--i LOVE your 'magic-permed' hair!! Isn't that one of the best things you've ever done to your hair!?!?! :)
Wow!!!! You have had the best time in the whole world! I am sooooooooo envious!!! But you know me, I need a matress wherever I go, so I feel I have seen the world through your eyes, thank you! Me in thailand too!! Yo girl, your pics look fantastic and its sounds like your having a ball as usual!! Well i just arrived in bagkok and should be heading down to some off the islands in a few days. I cant seem to get through to your email so try email me and i'll reply back x
i remember too well......... oh, Fiona-- I am so happy that you reached one of my most favorite places in Thailand. If you go again, you must hop over to Koh Lanta, which is a ferry ride away from Phi Phi. I hope you were able to see some sharks? (you know me....)alas, you can always do a great white swim in Austrailia.......
beauty sheer beauty hi....had to say that of all the places you have been these shots of Thailand gave me goose bumps! What a gorgeous place....could easily forget about time on one of those beaches. I know you are having the best ever so keep it up. Just came back from New York with Liam which was fabulous. Saw Daniel briefly in NY and he is thrilled and scared about being the new James Bond...what a great life we have and i loved your comment about the people you meet being the best part of travelling...couldn't agree more. Liam told me when we met again in New York after he had been to LA and i had been to St. Louis that i "collected wonderful people" nice thought. love you and i know you will keep in touch. also saw JoJo peter ross and blaise who came to New York for a day and we had mucho fun.
Back home Hi Fiona,
Back home and almost into my routine which is to check Fiona's blog site for her new adventures. You brighten up the dismal mornings. It's winter here in Vancouver! Did you plan to follow the summer about the world? What a good idea.
Love,
Ian
Nursery Rhymes - Fiona's Way! Love your new adapted Three Blind Men song....Throwing a pillow at them...How could you think of such a thing lol - then again snoring is very anooying!!! lol....Keep at it gal xxxx
It's working! The subject line reflects my recent difficulty with this "leave a comment" feature (maybe I've been doing something wrong, but it won't usually let me leave a comment without joining and signing in, first). Now here I am wasting the space. Fiona, your photos and your writing are just amazing - I think your photos will be your greatest treasure in years to come. Lots of love and a longer email to follow. Look after that toe! D. xoxoxo
beautiful... What movie is it that has a few scenes with the island-statues in it? It all looks so beautiful, 'specially the cave...cool! I was cracking up at the thought of that massage you both endured.. The Vietnamese people seem so very good natured and jolly. What a completely different way of life.. sounds very inviting. I am still so very jealous; but not of that toe! ouch! Good thing you have travel insurance... make sure you take some piccies of your new straightened hair =) Off to OZ soon? miss you xoxo
snake..eeew! You're crazy dood... no way you getting me 1) wrapping a snake around myself or 2) eating a flippin snake! but hey..'when in Rome...' Does your digi cam record short movies too? Would be cool if you could download some live action stuff hehe =) As ive said b4 your writing really is very descriptive and very entertaining..maybe you should look into writing for a living once you've exhusted your travels.. I visited with Pleash last wednesday and he's now in the States with Liam, I think in NYC sometime next week and seeing Mum. Ross has a new gf, and Blaise says she's annoying...lol Well that's all the goss... love you lots xx
