Hi Kacie!
I love reading your blog...you make me laugh, but I did get teary- eyed when you said that little girl cried that you couldn't go back to America. You are making a difference there Kacie and I look forward to seeing you when you get back to Jeans! You will be amazed at how much Hailey and Hannah have grown! I know they will have big smiles for you! I am praying for safe travel for you and that your foot heals! Love, Dana
Kacie!!! How I miss you!! It sounds like you're having quite an amazing time over there...Your blogs are the highlight of my days, they never cease to entertain me! You're in my thoughts and prayers...Miss you!
P.s. Brian can't wait to see his other Mrs. Crane when you return!
Hello Hey Kacie-
I told your mom that I am addicted to your blog. What am i going to do when you are home?? I told her you have to keep one up here so we know what you are doing here, Ha Ha Ha Ha. No seriously, i am really enjoying it. The weather is cold, raining and a possibility of snow on friday night and saturday. You are in my thoughts and prayers!! Love-Kris
Hello! How exciting! I enjoy reading your blog. Very interesting and you make me laugh and smile!. Take care and I think it is absolutley wonderful that you are on this great adventure! I will continue to pray for you and the kids/people you have come to love!
HEY YOU !!!! Love reading your blogs, sounds like your having a blast. Talked to mom last night, they are planning on coming down for Kennedy's birthday. I guess Abbie has some friends in Des Moines they will see on Friday and then come over. Sounds like we're planning another get together (like we had at your house last summer) this summer. Grandma says Kevin even wants to come. Thinking of you each day. Take care and stay safe. Lots of love to you! Kenny and Laurie
Hi Kacie. Glald to hear you are FINALLY in Africa and enjoying your work. What a great experience and adventure. I'm at work and just got called to help a customer. Take care and God bless.
I can't believe it's already saying "Day Thirty." I know that I just talked to you on the phone and sent you two facebook messages but I just like to comment after reading your blogs too. They are so fascinating. Can't wait to shove loaded chips in your face! Keep ordering those 'imported' wines! Any elephant poop yet?
Thinking of you often! Hey Kacie- I am sure enjoying reading about your adventure. When you get home be ready for lots of questions. I am so happy for you and that you are having this wonderful experience. I am praying for your health and safety.
HEY KACIE!!!!! Sounds like everything is going good for you. I am reading your blog daily and enjoying it. Mom talked about coming for Kennedy's 1st birthday, do you believe she will be one the end of the month. She is walking and really trying to talk. Allison is due here the middle of May and doing good. She is also expecting a girl. We all plan on coming home for a weekend the summer for a get together like last year. Can't wait to see your pics and hear your fun stories. Love ya lots!!! Kenny and Laurie
"You get the best of both worlds!" ~ Hannah Montana Are you saying that in a ps just to taunt me?! That's probably like a hidden and now public dream of mine to introduce myself as Hannah Montana and to have people except it because they have no clue who she really is. BTW's, I was working Champps the other night and a little girl (probably three) came running by me WEARING THE SAME HANNAH MONTANA SHIRT YOU GAVE ME!!!! I like how she layered it with a long sleeved white cotton shirt underneath. Very stylish I must say! I was laughing so hard to myself. Wish you were there to enjoy the moment!
Snoring YOU DO TALK IN YOUR SLEEP!!!! I plum forgot about that. Remember when you threw up in a garbage bag in my friend Shauns car? A garbage bag that I got from OC may I remind you and then threw it out the car door while we were in motion....Oh Kacie, how I love thee

Take care, have a fun and safe next few weeks and return home safe.
Lots of love to you.. Kenny, Laurie and Family
Kacie, are you sure you weren't just having a dream of a lady grabbing your arm? And in that dream it was really me wanting to give you to MY brother?!
DISTURBING! KACIE!!!!! That part about the goat makes me upset, distraught, grossed out, mad, and I feel like throwing up. You know how I don't like hurting poor little animals! And can you bring that downs syndrome kid home with you?! I would take care of him!
Praying for you Kacie - fun to read your blog. Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking and praying for you here in MN. We had 8 inches of snow last week. A white Easter!
blessings to you. May God be with you.
WOW WOW WOW I can not even fathom the experience you are having right now. BTW your blog has now become my new facebook. I don't know which one I check more. Travelblog = boredom cure. I see pictures and videos of kids just like that all the time in my classes of those in third world countries but I don't think anyone truly has the sense of how oppressed they are until witnessing in person. Your experiences so far are already motivating me to look into the African programs for studying abroad. Were the king and queen glamorous? Prayin for ya every night Kacie, hope things continue going well. Oh and also....While you're in Ghana I hope you don't get Gonorrhea! Ohhhhhh ME SO FUNNY!
A. why was the man grabbing you? Because you are a great looking American woman? Or because you were stealing..... and B. Monkeys!!!!!! I'm super jealous and want to go see monkeys at the zoo soon just to watch them play
Good to hear you haven't been eated by a lion yet!! It's so good to hear you made it to Ghana!! We prayed for you at my church yesterday!! I would have been so scared, but sounded like you handled everything very well!
Miss you... look for a package... how long does something like that take to get to Ghana?? Champps crew is getting one together!!
Hi Kacie!
So glad you made it to Ghana safely and finally! I've been praying for you! Thanks for posting your address...let me know if there is anything you are especially missing! You are doing a wonderful thing - enjoy your time because I'm sure it will fly by. I'm looking forward to reading about your adventures through this blog! Love and miss ya - Tracy
You Made it! You're finally there baby girl!!!! I'm relieved. I will be able to sleep better now knowing you are safe in Africa? I'll be drinking a glass of wine in your name soon. Let me know if my private comment got to you because they didn't send a confirmation email to me yet and it was SUPER long. So I hope you get it. Ps. I love you
