Hi Everyone! We now have been on our second farm for a little over a week and are happy to say that things have been going very well in comparision to our last place! We are a little bit tired of getting up at 5:30am in order to throw on some clothes and shovel some cold leftover pasta (our spectaclar breakfast) down our throats before heading out to the vinyards. Ciao a Tutti! We left our first farm last sunday (the 5th) and took a beautiful train ride to a little town in the Tuscany area called Lucca. The train was a great experience and it made for an easy day. Ciao! The past couple of days have been pretty boring and routine. But we made some new friends the other night over dinner... We got to order pizza and have it delivered and it was very tasty! mmm... =) There are lots of people that live on this farm that we are on and it is like a community more than a farm. Ciao! And Greetings from the farm! Whew... where to begin... we've finally gotten in the groove of farm life... wake up early, eat breakfast, pull some weeds, take a really long break..... then work again... eat and fall into bed... but we must have looked tired by Friday because Luciana (the ruler of the wwoofers =) was kind and gave us Saturday and Sunday off! while you may have thought we were dead because you have not heard from us in a LONG time (haha like 4 days) we are actuall alive and well playing on a farm and become the masters of the weeds! our flight into italy was at 6:45am and we watched our shuttle to the airport drive away without us, so we had to get a taxi with a couple of other ppl that also missed it cuz the trip was 144 euro! so when we finally got into italy we took the metro to the bus station, which was closed because [View Full Entry]

Hello Everyone! Yesterday was a very relaxing day. We slept in and decided that we wanted to eat at a restaurant (for the first time since we left =) and people watch. So we wandered up our street and picked a nice little bar / restaurant and chose a seat next to the window. We just sat and talked for an hour or so and observed a little bit of the cultural differences and clothing styles in Spain. So yesterday was a whirl wind! We finally made it to bed around 1... and were up by 4:30 to catch the metro, hop on a bus that took us to the airport to fly Gerona. Then we took a bus into Barcelona... it was a very long trip. But we found our hostel very easily! Hello Everyone! We had a successful flight to Paris... it was long but we made it =) We learned the train and metro system quickly and are enjoying the public transportation. We got up early this morning and started our adventure of Paris, starting with the Eiffel Tower!! The line was so long to take the elevator to the top, so we decided to take the stairs... whew... what a climb =) It was a perfect day to be out sight seeing.
