Hello Everyone!
We had a successful flight to Paris... it was long but we made it =) We learned the train and metro system quickly and are enjoying the public transportation. We got up early this morning and started our adventure of Paris, starting with the Eiffel Tower!! The line was so long to take the elevator to the top, so we decided to take the stairs... whew... what a climb =) It was a perfect day to be out sight seeing. The sun has been out all day with a few scattered clouds to keep it cool. While walking up, down and around the Eiffel Tower. We will head back to the Eiffel Tower once the sun goes down so we can see it light up =) From the Eiffel Tower we walked to the Arc de Triomphe. It was completely packed with cars circling (its in a round about) that we decided it would be best to take pictures from across the street. From the Arc de Triomphe we walked down Champs Elysees Avenue. It was like the Rodeo Drive in LA.. from designer clothing stores to fancy hotels! Very classy and very beautiful architecture... but its very rare for the architecture to not be beautiful over here =) We walked and saw lots of things on our way down Champs Elysees.. we saw the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais (they were right across the street from each other.. funny=) the Petit Palais had beautiful paintings on the ceiling. From there we headed toward the Jardin Des Tuileries. On our way a bus almost hit a couple of guys ahead of us in the crosswalk... just confirming that pedestrians definately do not have the right of way!! We grabbed a sandwitch just outside of the Jardin Des Tuileries and ate lunch by a huge pond... There were green chairs all around the pond and the grounds of the garden. We decided after a long morning of walking we would sit and be lazy for a bit... we grabbed some reclining chairs and sat in the sun... read our books and wrote in our journals... We decided that we didn't have enough time or energy to walk through the Louvre so we went to Notre Dame instead. The Louvre will be another day. Notre Dame was beautiful... the emmaculate stain glass windows to the very detailed paintings and statues.. So many things to see in such a short time!! But so far so good!!!

1. while walking along the champs elysees: sighted a man with his fly down and no underwear on, fully displaying his wears... not much there i fear =)
2. waking up at 4:30 tomorrow morning to catch the metro then bus to the airport so that we can fly to barcelona.

dude, i totally know what you mean about the different keyboard. i feel like an infant trying to type on it. but it is good :) i am so glad you are having a good time! i am not going to lie, i am a little jealous of your adventures in paris :) i was there for a day and i really had no time to actually check anything out. i have left myself a few days at the end of my trip to check out paris before i leave. it sounds amazing though. i really want to go to the louvre. let me know if there is anything that you see there that you think i should especially see. thats pretty bad english but you know what i mean. i love you so very much! you are amazing! i am heading to my next farm tomorrow thus i have no idea how the internet thing is going to be but i will talk to you when i can. i love you so very much! dont forget that :)
