| 20th July 2009 Cathy | Brazil rocks! - From: Brazilian Adventures with Johnny Indiana Wonderful country, the best people of the world. That's the way it is, SURPRISED, everything in Brazil is much better than we imagine. Awesome pictures, congratulations for the text as well. |
| 19th July 2009 Brenda | Amazing! - From: Day 664 - Going Home I just found you and spent most of the day reading your adventures. I'm so-o-o jealous. I traveled to a few of your places with my husband but don't think I can do it now physically. I hope you travel again for your pleasure and mine, both literary and photographic. |
| 30th May 2009 EdVallance | Great blog, thank you - From: York - Coming Home I'm in a similar situation to you, having returned home 2 days ago after 2 years of travel. I came home with malaria and serious jet lag so am still very much recovering and doing nothing but like you had thought that when I'm better some sort of continuity of travel habits would ease the transition back to "reality"- perhaps even just doing a few trips to places in my own country i would otherwise have ignored. Anyway, your blog made a great read, thanks :) |
| 27th May 2009 scottandanny | Hey there! - From: Ready, Steady.....Relax Just browsing and got sucked in by your beautiful photo's and my memories of Lao. Especially Tat Lo where we also stayed with the incomparable Mama Pap!! Her snake Laap was incredible! Thank you, great blog |

The only bad thing is that now we want to go again and are trying to think of ways to scrape it together. AWESOME that you kids had that much time to run the globe. |
| 2nd February 2009 Becky and Mike | How good am I? - From: Day 664 - Going Home Yeah! Being with me made it into the highlights! Obviously they are in chronological order or I would be at the top. So I guess youu'll be either home or on your way through the skies right now. It makes me sad! Speak to you from home. Becky, xxx |

| 1st February 2009 Will Jewsbury | Insightfully Inspiring... - From: Day 664 - Going Home Thank you for sharing a brief yet eclectic summary of your adventures... I'm in the process of planning the unplannable (i.e.travel) and your blog really shows how only loose plans are needed, for the randomness of where you find yourself (and in what situation) is all part of the experience. The paragraph on safety is very apt... the world ain't a bad place as the propoganda driven media would have us believe... it's just full of different people with different thoughts and ideas, opportunities and endevours... many struggling to get by with what little they have, and so when an opportunity is "given" by careless backpackers; you can't be suprised if that money hanging out of your back pocket, or 80-million-mega-pixel camera is stolen for your unzipped bag. Please keep writing, you appear to be very talented at it. Many Thanks, Will (aspiring Nomad) |

| 31st January 2009 Patt Barrington | I loved your posting and pictures! - From: Bienvenidos a Uruguay! Looks quite a lot like our Mardi Gras here in southeast Texas and Louisiana, US! And our Mardi Gras is only 3 weeks away! I'll be taking pictures and posting on my blog too. In March I return to Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, but, alas, I will have missed their 'Carnival'. | 25th January 2009 Kathy Mills | very nice - From: Argentina - Onwards to the End of the World even if IGUAçU is in Brazil!!! They talk a lot about "Iguazu" in Argentina, but it's just a trick to catch more turists. |

| 6th January 2009 Becky | Brazil looks ace! - From: Brazilian Adventures with Johnny Indiana Awesome pics as ever - especially love the ones of the caimens. I like to imagine you sitting right in front of their faces to get the close ups. Paul looks like Robinson Crusoe in the one where he's holding up the fish he caught! Did you eat the piranhas? Not even one de-railment on the death train? How dissapointing. |

| 19th October 2008 M & D | Chilled but not stirred - From: Galloping on the Moon, Chile Great insight into S.America. Some of the pics look like a setting for a spaghetti western! What a great idea for running the buses - pity its not 100% all the time. |
| 4th October 2008 M & D | madness - From: ....and then I fell out of a plane Why would anyone want to throw themselves out of a plane? Having said that it looks aboslutely fab. Great views you wouln't be able to get from anywhere else. |
| 30th September 2008 Jen | - From: ....and then I fell out of a plane Hey Gorgeous! Oh my goodness, my heart was pounding just reading that! I also really want to go sky diving but as I was reading your description of hanging your feet out over the wheel and trying not to look down or think about what might happen I had this overwhelming fear that I'd never be able to do it. Eesh. Must conquer the fear! Go you!!! Woo hoo!! xxxx |
| 30th September 2008 Dad | - From: ....and then I fell out of a plane The galleon episode was character-forming and obviously provided the benchmark for aerodynamical terror!!! xx |
| 30th September 2008 Becky and Mike | Skydiving!! - From: ....and then I fell out of a plane Oh my God, skydiving sound so ace, we really want to do that! NZ sounds fab, I am also jealous of wrapping up and not wearing MC Hammer pants (the latest addition to my wardrobe). We are in Chiang Mai doing nothing. Been very lazy, need to get off our arses soon. Miss you, love Becky & Mike |

| 27th August 2008 Kevin | What a riot - From: So long and thanks for all the kimchi - A Year in South Korea I stumbled onto your blog by accident (due to the photo of bottle beach in Thailand, where I spent two great weeks back in '96), and upon exploring, found your gem of a blog entry about the ROK. I'm originally from Korea (although now I consider myself American more than anything). I've been back there since moving to the US, but I don't think I can see the country through the same light as a true foreigner - and your vision is pretty hilarious. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in Thailand and onwards, and good luck finding Korean joints to satisfy your Bibimbap cravings outside of Korea. Cheers, - Kevin |

I've just had another look through the Thailand photos and yeah there's not too many of me, we did rectify that in Hong Kong though so they'll be on when I get round to it and when I put video footage on you'll be sick of the sight of me because the digicam is Paul's baby:) |
| 6th June 2007 ann | the wet season - From: Thailand - Songkran a water filled few days What a great read! What craziness - good to be able to read all about it in the dry. Great pics too. My favourite is the one of the hut - I want to beeeeee there! Also love the pic of the palace guards, the food, the beach, etc. So do you mean that there is another King other than Elvis? And I don't think Paul is looking moody at all. In fact, I think he is saying, 'let me take one of you sometime. People would like that too!' |
